Can't remember the exact title (Boulevard of Broken Dreams?) but I'm sure Kevmath can provide a link to this gem. It's a true classic.

Million Dollar Deal, it's hard to find though.

Narrated by John Hurt it's about a bunch of young Irish players(including Andy Black) who went over to the 1997 WSOP.

Here is one called "the million dollar deal". It was following Andrew Black and a couple of other irish poker players during the 1996 WSOP ME when Scotty won it.

watched this on netflix true story:

Breaking Vegas: Prince of Poker (2007)

While telling the story of how one individual, a journalist, beat 500 to 1 odds to win the World Series of Poker, this program also reveals some of the greatest gambling schemes, both legal and illegal, in history. On assignment in Las Vegas for Harper's, Jim McManus used his writer's fee to enter the match he was covering and wound up beating all 500 players to walk away with $1.5 million in cash. But in Vegas, McManus is the exception.

This link is the boss, just go to it and type 'documentary' into the search.

It will bring up most of the videos mentioned in this link, there's also another good video with Loius Theroux following some degen gamblers in Vegas.

Um, when did Jim McManus win 1.5 million? I think the story is about his final table run.

He didn't, Chris Ferguson won 1.5m in 2000. McManus won almost $250,000 for finishing in 5th. The Breaking Vegas documentary is hilarious for the guy that plays T.J Cloutier being overdramatic.

This might be off topic, but does anyone know where to find the one where Annie Duke and a FBI agent both tried to detect bluffs. I think it was on Discovery Channel. Links to video would be awesome.

No Limit: A Search For The American Dream On The Tournament Trail

It's an interesting view of players that you don't see on the commercial TV shows. Everyone from Doyle to Hellmuth to Matusow to Bobby Baldwin. Very entertaining.

The Am Slim one was very very good

The 1999 World Series one was weakish.

The Passionate Eye sucks too.
