I’m specifically curious what the 2/5 and 5/T NL games would look like as I might move to Halifax in the next few years and I would need that room to be a source of income for me.
Congrats from a fellow Canadian on a nice ME run. It was enjoyable watching you play. I especially enjoyed the strategy you used against Ensan once the final table got pretty short. Played hands a lot like I would have against him. It was easy to tell he was getting frustrated at times.
Thanks for the kind words. Halifax is great for PLO, not so good for NL. 1/3 NL runs daily but 2/5 goes infrequently and 5/10 is basically not a thing. Rake is $6 on 1/3 plus a $1 drop for the bad beat. Would be tough to beat that game for much. I think there were moments of frustration from everyone at the FT but that generally people kept it together better than expected.

How did you progress at Chess when you were learning the game?

Did you have any "lightbulb moments" when progressing as a chess player?

Ever played chess for serious money?

Since your Canadian how do you stay in the states full time?

Also assume you got hit with 30% tax from your score being Canadian, Think you will get it all back? Do your backers have to wait for their share of this or did you pay them out in full?

Was always curious how the tax situation would work for a score over 7 figures.

Congrats on the run btw

What’s it like to lose a bracelet less than an hour after winning it?
