I am just confused why he keeps angling while also promoting his lifestyle brand. That brand is love everyone, help yourself and others, be "conscious" live clean etc, brand.
Obviously the angling contradicts the brand?
Also you can buy that sweater for $50 or $60 or something on amazon. Enjoy!
Maybe we should let sleeping dogs lie but this one on LATB cracked me up.
Alec has like two stacks of four chips and goes all in. Garrett does a hugely exaggerated neck crane and says "just making sure you don't have any more behind there".

Garrett also mentioned on Joey's podcast how Alec was trying to sell him essential oil necklaces at the table. Speaking of...
I was reading a subreddit called /r/antiMLM the other day, and I was taken aback at how many of the posts there were about essential oils. Apparently there is a booming cottage industry of pyramid schemes centered around harassing your friends and family to buy overpriced snakeoil.
Now, I had assumed that Alec simply bought some oil wholesale and bulk-ordered some cheap trinkets on Alibaba. If you must go down this road, that would be the smart way of doing it. But is it possible that he's stupid enough to have been caught up in Young Living or some such scam?
The way they speak and act is strikingly similar to Alec's online persona. They pretend to be very successful entrepreneurs with "personal brands", and speak in motivational platitudes, apparently spending way too much time watching Gary Vaynerchuck and reading The Secret. This is all a front, of course, as most of them are failing.
