I had no clue who Alien Boston was until I read this but he seems like a nice enough guy who is probably a poor man's version of Mike the Mouth. He wears his heart on his sleeve and it's hilarious how much he explicitly gets upset about the avatar jokes, which only gives provacation for 2p2-ers to do more ridiculing. All in All, Alien reminds me of a bad guy wrestler in how he handles himself and confrontations. I wonder what his gimmick would be??
He puts mechanical devices in his opponents butt after a victory.
Or, as Richard Pryor famously told Johnny Carson on "The Tonight Show" back in the 1970's: "Cocaine ... Johnny, that's God's way of telling you you've got too much money."
I don't know why these sponsored pros can't handle criticism
YOU'RE BEING PAID TO DO WHAT YOU'D BE DOING ANYWAY JUST MUTE THE CHAT BOX IF YOU CAN'T DEAL WITH IT
I hereby declare on the day I become a sponsored pro if I ever win a bunch of random live tournaments, paying customers of the brand i'm representing can call me whatever they want
Also how the f is Alan Boston relevant in poker again? His live cashes aren't even noticeably better than mine and I barely play live, let alone all of the unsponsored players who are actually successful live... and his FTP graph is a diagonal line downwards basically and as far as i'm aware he isn't famous, isn't a hot chick, isn't from an emerging market the site is targeting and isn't a successful high stakes cash game player so um... why is he sponsored again?
Edit: just saw thread was from 2009, assumed it was today's. Rant stands for ******ed sponsored pros who call the chat mod when people say stuff that is rude but not abusive, then the chat mod tells them there's nothing that can be done because no rules were broken
im pretty good friends with boston and hes actually a really nice guy...typical internet kids that just sit here and bash him...hes the one guy in the world who doesnt bs around anything and is a genuine good soul just sometimes lost and lets face it....we are all lost and deal with it in different ways
