(desperate attempt at a funny meme goes here)

Never said I invented light 3betting here, or anywhere else. I said I popularized it. In those days there were like 2 regs per table and the vast majority of them posted on 2p2. Plenty of them replied in that thread. Many of those reg's 3b % literally doubled within the week, some were even more extreme.

Even CTS' post confirms this:

"A very good 2+2 poster, AJFenix, also started this great post on light 3-betting and it caught on with 2+2 midstakes players (many of whom have moved up to the high stakes games)."

Hard to get a vouch like that from a boss like CTS. CTS is smart enough to not sit in NVG and deal with 130 post 2012-register date bitter/angry trolls like you, I'm not. C'est la vie.

I don't think that about people critical of me. OP inquired about things, I did my best to address them. Keruli disagreed with my play in some spots. He has the right to his own opinion. I have the right to respond. I'm willing to debate said spots, he doesn't want to, that's up to him. All good, can't really go further with that.

You, on the other hand, randomly INSULT, with a doucheful "I think we can all agree" (when most people aren't agreeing) to boot! That's quite different. THAT takes a miserable human being. Someone has to fill that role, though. People gonna people, especially on the internets. Really thankful to the awesome ones that made an appearance here that I've gotten way more love than hate in this thread, or I'd be scarred for life.

This is you:

Thankfully Stars isn't the only site online, and rakeback isn't where most of my profits have come from : ) I know I can come back after not having played for months and show better winrates in those games than what you stated, while not sober+dancing+reading chat. I also play, and always have played, bigger on other sites. You yourself said I'm "clearly solid/a winner". Now you're trying to turn that into "rakeback grinder" out of raw bitterness, lmao. I've backed up my other statements, no point repeating. Many can cosign.

You do sound bitter and angry, though :-/ Maybe take Kill out of your name and develop some JOY and COMPASSION. We are all just people, living a short life, fighting an uphill battle and doing our best, each dealing with our own struggles. (insert next angry post desperately grasping at something to use against me down below)

Re: AJfenix winner? and/or other runt it once coaches?

What don't the haters/trolls get about what this man's stream is all about?

He's 4-tabling .5/1 zoom all while entertaining and chatting with ~1,000 viewers. During the last stream, he saw that the chat had built up with a bunch of questions so he completely put a pause to the poker session and took the time to give meaningful answers to everyone.

The way he approaches these sessions are a complete and different manner from which he grinds the higher stakes as a source of income. He has done a tremendous amount of good for the game and Twitch poker community and for you to come in here and bash him for any reason is pathetic.

Are you jealous? That is the only reason I can think of for such ludicrous behavior. I openly encourage any of these haters to attempt a poker stream on Twitch and have it be better/more informative/more entertaining than AJFenix. Yea, not happening!

KillTheCheaters and Keruli sound mad. NVG haters gonna NVG haters.

Keep up the good work, Adrian. Best poker stream on twitch IMO.

OP politely asks a question and everyone takes it so serious and freaks out. Goes to show the types of people the poker community consists of.

Re: AJfenix winner? and/or other runt it once coaches?

Not sure where this crap about 888 comes from. I play midstakes on multiple eurosites and 888 is pretty much the worst of them. The reason is ABSURD rake. You pay almost TWICE as much as on stars and then you have a super ****ty vip system on top of that. You need to win ~8bb/100 more on 888 to make up for the rake lol. Good luck with that. If this network becomes even minimally harder it is not worth playing at all.

Obviously you have to background check your coaches / video makers. If you cannot see if your coach is a reasonable player then you probably are not at the stage of your career where you should consider coaching. I mean its not like as a NL200 player you couldnt possibly understand if a NL600 player is reasonably good or not.

I tried an essential membership on RIO and Felipe B. was pretty much the only guy where I felt like I could trust his thought process / learn something. I play higher stakes than what essential probably is for though.

Not sure what you criticize twitch streamers for though. The one time I looked there was a NL500 zoom crusher with 30 viewers and a hearthstone streamer playing 40/5 style poker with 30.000 viewers. So most people seem to not give a **** about the player quality in general.

FWIW AJ, I'm on your side but I don't know why you think popularising 3betting is relevant.

I dont even read posts any more since most is just trying to be supersmart and super cool. as far as im concerned someone can just close this thread.

i just know that 95 % of streamers r loosing players, 3% BE, and others might be winers .im talking about PS ,dont know for other sites.

and as far as PTR results not beeing accuarte...yeah thats true , but seriously, if anyone thinks that somehow theres a couple of hundred thousands $$ missing in that graph...just get ur head outa ur arse and dont fool ur selfs. mine current result on PS lifetime is -400 $ and i dont give a fk. what i do care about is to improve my game , and for asking for your guys opinions i somehow came out as a bad guy. OP this OP that... gl at tables guys.

Re: AJfenix winner? and/or other runt it once coaches?

AJ, why do you reply to negative posts in the manner that you do? You keep saying that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, yet you seem to always defend or correct any negative feedback in a fashion that highlights your achievements. I dont get it. You dont have to rationalize every persons opinion of you or your poker playing abilities. If you say you want people to have their own opinions, let some of them be neutral, nonbiased opinions.
In addtion, why do you belittle a poster that has a slim history of using 2+2 when you are still able to say that the majority of your audience at Twitch is people that fit that bill (people with little knowledge of the game, lowstakes players or people that are new to poker)? I realize this particular person was targeting you in a foul manner and that some kind of response was warranted, but it doesnt seem like smart money to use the "you dont have cred on 2+2, so your opinion dont matter" line when people with shortlived or nonexistant 2+2 lives is your biggest market for streaming.
Ive watched your stream a couple of times in the past, I have enjoyed it and you. However, I dont understand the reasoning behind your replies as of late.
Good luck though

lol ok, so I thought in the op you thought that ajfenix was a good player with good thought processes and was shocked to find a breakevenish graph of a lolsamplesize of hands. Yet now you just know 95 % of streamers are losing players.

You know this with certainty yet your grasp on the English language is so poor you can not spell either the word losers or winners. Ok, chief.

Also "take your head out of your ass" isn't compelling argument. Despite all that, GL yourself with poker though.

Also, yeah AJFenix is probably doing quite well by this thread, haha.

He's coming across as an insecure child with short mans syndrome. I don't know why people are saying this thread is good for him, he made himself look like complete crap, with a really ****ty personality. I've never heard of him before, but now I know to never watch anything by him, mostly because of how much of a flamboyant D-bag he is. Not like it matters though.

Re: AJfenix winner? and/or other runt it once coaches?

Honestly, I don't think some of my replies in here were necessary or optimal. I do agree with that. I wasn't 100% mental function when I wrote a few of them, but still, not trying to make excuses. I wanted to make some counterpoints, I could have approached it a bit better, sure. A few replies might have been entertaining to some % of people, and offputting to another %. Fair enough. I apologize if you took it this way, it was meant to be viewed from a fairly light-hearted perspective. I had been pretty belligerent on stream and people loved it, kind of carried it over to here with some rambling but obviously to someone not familiar with me, impossible for some of it to not be viewed a certain way.

Hard to keep a balance, not everyone will be happy with everything : ) Rehashing silly things and trying to "prove myself", I'll ease up on that. I think you'd likely have a different opinion on me if you popped into the stream, thanks for the feedback either way. I'm LEARNING, friends. And thanks as always to the supporters.

I understand why you would take the stance you took on this thread. If there is a thread dedicated to you where people are insulting you, everyone would defend himself it is human nature.

What I think you have to realise is that sometimes the best defensive stance is not to say anything, and that nowadays the internet is a place (specially forums) were people can channel all their real life frustrations on a site to feel better about themselves, maybe not realising they are affecting someone a lot sometimes.

Best of luck Adrian.

Internet defence gto itt. Sometimes you gotta move some combos from yr posting range to yr check back range for balance.

GL AJ; yr stream always makes for good viewing and will hopefully attract new players to the game
