The best part about this whole thread is the fact that if Admo doesn't cash in the event this is a non-issue. The fact that he played in the event at all shows he cares about the starving african babies.

Admo called me a liar on a recent thread.

I overreacted to that, and badmouthed him in this thread.

I apologized to him here. I apologized to him on the must read blog, Pokerati.

I wrote a post about the music history of my home town, Lubbock. I told about Buddy Holly. I interviewed his brother. I mentioned a great many living people. Two of the Lubbock radio stations whose history I was telling put it on their web sites. I put in on the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal web site. Joe Ely, a singer I used to manage, put it on his MySpace page. None of these local people, none of the Crickets, or the Holley family called me a liar.

Admo called me a liar. He has never been to Lubbock. He does not know any of these people. It is totally all right for him to say bad things about me.

I was angry at him, going in.

Isn't AUFA strongly associated with Don Cheadle though? Doesn't he rep FTP? I'm not seeing how bringing UB into this should affect him.

I Just read the whole thread and cannot believe how unbelievably ignorant johnny hughes is being. Admo is obv a standup guy. Look how many ****ing people vouched for him. The reason you are trying to hurt his name is because he made fun of you... wtf are you 4 years old? Then you say where are you? like he isn't talking because he is guilty. Someone earlier in the thread said he wouldn't be able to post for a while. You are a piece of **** for posting this crap with no evidence. This goes for all people making evidence lacking accusations. Until you have some, stop posting itt. If you do have evidence then i have no problem taking your side. Also AUFA really needs to be "punished" by ADMO for there ****ty behavior. I dont know exactly what actions can/need to be taken but this is obviously rediculus. Maybe donate to another charity in africa or something.

No it doesn't. It shows that either:

a) Admo cares about Africans
b) Admo entered the tournament in the hopes that he'd be able to leverage something against UB
c) Admo entered the tournament because it was a soft field
d) any number of other reasons

I'm sure Admo had nothing but the best of intentions. He has a great rep and he's always seemed to go out of his way to help others. But the forum has really fallen in lockstep behind him in this and I think his critics have a point, though they certainly made that point in the worst possible way.

Man this cast of posters brings back memories of back in the day (Umm, last year I think) Hughes recollections of things disremembered, Mookman ragging the UB scandal, Admo in the middle of a "who got scammed controversy"; now if only Cornell Fiji would post my 4th of July holiday weekend would be awesome...

LOL, man how time goes so quickly. Seriously, Admo is a stand up guy. Hopefully in a few days when he has time to post, more will come to light.

Would just like to say that I couldn't care less if Admo did or didn't give more money to Ante Up For Africa.

I wouldn't think better of him if he did, I don't think worse of him if he didn't. In some cases, I actually think less of people who go out of their way to make "look at me" type donations.

i'd take the same line as admo in regards to being pissed off about being hounded but this whole ub angle is beyond ridiculous.

with all the other crap going on here, you really want to take a dig at the guy for not following the thread closely enough? as he already stated, he's playing the main event today. i'm sorry he's not skipping that to debate with you in NVG (actually i am sorry, i'd be more entertained if he were). then again, i really don't think any more discussion has been needed since the point where admo clarified what happened. really johnny, you need to take to heart that you realize you've overreacted, and step away from the keyboard and take a walk.

This thread is so tilting. People making assumptions and judgments without any logic.

Admo seems like very decent person based on his posts and opinions. But without being biased, can we at least reserve judgment till this matter is resolved?

Deeb chimes in and mentions "UB"(and I'm pretty sure he shouldn't have) and all of the sudden there's accusations of blackmail and exploitation?

Whatever Admo's plan was, I'm sure he has put some thought into it.

The only thing one can actually deduce from this thread is:

1.) "Hunter" is extremely unprofessional, and should this person actually work for AUFA, I will not EVER play this tournament.

2.) JH is just a fckn idiot.

Annie being "hunter" sure would make sense. I can almost picture her saying those things. Just when I thought I couldn't possibly have a lower opinion of her.......... Oh well I guess we'll never know.

I agree this "Hunter" person was very unprofessional. Admo seems like a stand up guy from what everyone who knows him says. I think Admo showed more class so far by leaving his winnings at the cashier before talking to anyone about it.

I know most of you are biased because you like him on 2+2 and his photoshops. Well this sounds like a real selfish ploy to keep more than you should. If it is asked that you give 50%, then instead of taking the time to tell the people you need time to talk on the phone. Take less time and say 50%. Now he is saying he wants to speak to Annie before deciding how much to give.

If he does not donate atleast 50% he scammed the tournament end of story.
