I didn't bring this to 2p2 and only posted to back up my side of the story.

In my mind, "financial/business arrangements not working out " is not the same as someone freerolling me for tens of thousands in tournaments and not paying me. Maybe you have a different background and don't feel that way.

People won't even give the respect of reading through a complex and heated situation before weighing in with their opinion when two people's reputations are on the line in a public forum tens of thousands of people read on the reg. I mean, I agree w/this for sure. I have acted stupidly. It was ******ed and self destructive any way you look at it, and I never should have even gotten involved publically. I do not have some huge ego, believe it or not. I just strongly felt like I was entirely in the right and needed to defend myself, but this is not a reasonable excuse. I'm not the one sided angry individual online haters might like to portray me as. I think people are a little more complex than that, and I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt in online squabbles after my experiences on this forum and p5s the last 5 years. People do things for emotional reasons, people have different life experiences and values than you, and you rarely know all the details. I have had people I have argued with on here extensively who I ended up becoming great friends with. I know people who are considered to be scumbags or who are just relentlessly hated on by 2p2, who I would probably have the same opinion of, had I not met them and found them to be very nice, genuine people. It's just that, in real life you typically don't have so many people judging you, attacking you, and treating others generally disrespectfully, and some people don't handle it very well. Most communication is non-verbal, after all. The fact that there are people behind screens saying terrible things about someone they don't even know can be very frustrating and enraging. I've found this to be the case for myself no matter how good I try to be. My whole family is like this.

Omg this. I'm 6'4, weigh 270lbs, and have been lifting for over 10 years. I have never tried to start a fight in this time, and in fact, have gone out of my way to difuse the situation when people want to try and start something.

Just because I throw some stupid plates around, I have no misconception (and neither should other meatheads), that I can fight. I have no doubt that a semi decent wrestler who weighs 100lbs less than myself, could probably snap a leg and both arms before choking me out.
