I'm 65% certain that everyone at the FT got a watch. Didn't recognize anyone at the FT, though HU was against a competent eurokid who was likely a pro (probably not what you meant though). Would be funny to track him down somehow since he seemed really pissed at bubbling the ME seat.

2. That he agrees to pay you $3,000 as full settlement before the end of November in the form of a bank check.
3. State that you don't waive your rights to collect on the debt in the event he defaults on the terms of the settlement.

In the (likely) event he defaults, you've got a pretty iron-clad IOU that should be enforceable court judgement. You can then garnish his wages and assets.
This. Bring it with you to his next event.

Finishing second in a winner take all has got to suck, no matter who you are. My personal highlight was chatting with Shannon Elizabeth a few times between sessions, that was all that I "won" lol.

Wow I just realized that this Aces and Angels scam was pretending to support wounded warriors.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but IMO that makes this guy the worst kind of scum there is.

I would suggest showing up at Mint Poker. He is there every night.

Cross-posting from the thread about Mr. Eakman's Houston poker room:

The matter regarding my tournament win at the Playboy Mansion in '09 has been settled amicably with Michael Eakman.

I've followed this forum for a year or so now. Never felt inclined to make a username. I finally did that today, stumbled across this, and can't believe it's been settled.

Congrats dude.

Just noticed this post. Can you tell us any details about the settlement please? Michael Eakman promised me a table felt from the event, but never delivered.

Eakman owns Mint Poker in Houston and is there every day if you need to get in touch with him direct.
