I have it on good authority that GGPoker has recently disabled agent accounts ability to credits players accounts assigned to them.

Seems was probably in response to OP's situation given the timing.

Its not only scam reasons, field is getting smaller and agents are starting to be more aggressive in finding new players. It doesn't mean its always scammers

Well i don't think its possible that operator will enable agent to just get player under his network branch while using something like aff link. Because it will be very risky (massive fraud potential) for operator with no benefits.

For you to get under agent branch most often Agent hook you up with the account ( using your real data or fake if needed) , he gives you created acc you switch pass on first login etc…

Or you have an account and you agree with him that you switch your account to his branch and sort it out with super agent.

Keep in mind that Super Agents are very close with the operators , its not like affiliates who know some aff manager or just enrolled with the program. Since Super Agents create whole branches of Agents they move sick amounts of cash, bring a lot of liquidity in network, so they are very close with the operator senior people/owners/management team etc… so they can sort out a lot of this player account problems. As written in this thread this is exactly the way problem was solved.

So to answer your question shortly you don't need to worry that u are under some agent that can alter your balance if you just used refferal link. Operator wouldn’t allowed that as it would endanger whole agent ecosystem as fraudsters would use it massively.

Make sure natural 8 is allowed in your country. They did this to a few players where they ask you to verify and then if your country isn’t allowed they ban you from that skin and ask you to withdraw the money (long process).

Also make sure you’re not using a vpn (causes the same issue).

Even though it’s the same network the skins operate in different countries and can be somewhat troublesome, especially if you have had some trouble with the other skin.

Also if you were granted a deposit bonus they sometimes need you to play for a certain amount , ie rake 10% of your deposit amount.
This is usually automated and you’ll be in a verification boot loop until someone manually lets you know about the 10% rake issue.

I could be slightly wrong on the specifics but generally is the case.

I’d suggest if you playing on a new skin, deposit a smaller amount and grind out some lower stakes and once you have a successful withdraw then deposit higher and start firing your normal games.

Since gg security have been posting in this thread and the resolution here was that the master agent paid out this specific player and actual agent still got away with 500k. What steps will be implemented to stop this happening in the future?

Seems like a pretty easy scam for the agents under the master agents to just work their way up , flip 500k leaving the master agents to pay the money so save their dealings directly with GG.

There are cases that I know of where the master agent can’t afford to pay back the user and GG can’t do anything about it and the case is lost, so what will prevent this in the future?

If you listened to the advice instead of dismissing it as meanness you wouldn't have any issues.

Why did you deposit 200k just to withdraw 50% of it hours later? Don´t you think/plan before taking these actions with those sums of money? Pretty sure problem customers who create (or attract to themselves?) so much trouble, by their own carelessness in this particular case, and in such small timeframes, will just end up being invited to move their businesses elsewhere (or, in the popular jargon, banned).

This is eerily looking like the case that zaas the hs reg had an issue with.

Yeah I think Russian zas had same problems, I mean it’s just pretty insane that the cases with larger amounts of money get resolved but the smaller ones don’t. In OPs case his super agent was able to pay out the debt that was taken, in a case I know of it couldn’t be resolved then was pressured not to go public about it.
