I’m a mid to high stakes verified poker player on gg poker, I funded in 500k to ggpoker directly, while I was in hospital, my affiliate/agent reset my password and stole my funds.
Now GG poker states they are not liable and asked me to look for my affiliate/agent! What bs is this?
What a loophole that GGpoker allows its affiliates to withdraw its customer funds without their permisssion!
Please advise me on how to spread this case to the poker community and regulators of ggpoker! I have since moved under a new skin called natural8, but i wish to know if ggpoker can just ignore my case and push it to the affiliate “cards88”

Story looks a bit crazy if you deposited under no name partner program.

why/how does your affiliate/agent have access to the password reset?
since you are the one who deposited (likely from a (bank) account in your name), how can this agent cash out 500k to his account?

That's the risk that comes with using an agent/affiliate, and it makes sense that GG have no obligation to interefere with the **** that happens between players and their agents/affiliates

Stop being such a nit, just accept you lost the 500k, deposit again into another skin/network and use it as a lesson to be more careful next time.

No one would be so dumb as to deposit a significant % of his net worth in a poker site, especially one with a history of sometimes confiscating funds with zero transparency. You obviously have way more than 500k and can easily absorb this loss.

Sorry this happened to you, but there's nothing a poker site can do to help you. If they started getting involved in things like this where two parties clearly have some relationship, they open themselves up to unlimited fraud.

Ultimately the security of your own account is yours. Set up 2FA, choose strong passwords, don't share your personal info.

Sorry for my ironic post btw, but again, you said you’re a mid to highstakes player, so 500nl to 1knl. Why 500-1000x brm at once? Is it so hard to redeposit if you go tighter and end up busting it? Just makes no sense, I wouldn’t do it even on pokerstars , which is way safer. Poker sites are not banks lol.

The $500k figure is just too big, the story doesn't make sense. The only way it makes sense is if OP is a $200/$400 player or plays $25k tournaments or something... or there's a big part of the story that is being missed out.

Really curious about this.. if the GG/Natural8 affiliate system actually lets the agents access players accounts just because they use their referral code it's insanely exploitable and shady. Nowhere is this explained in the terms.
The only reason they would set it up this way is for players in restricted areas to allow their agents to falsely verify the accounts using other identities so they can play on VPNs.
Hard to say that i'm surprised based on their history but wow, no wonder Brynn Kennedy has infinite buyins for super high rollers.

So this is for GG app games? I’ve never played on GG but I don’t have an agent for pstars or wsop. I’ve only been approached by agents for pokerbros and other app games. Is GGs normal client and their apps completely separate? Either way, that sucks.

That’s nuts. Mariano and rampage just going to ride into the sunset with $20m one day. Probably not even illegal if the user “gave access” to the account by using a referral code.
