If you leave the State and Zip Code blank though, you can't proceed to the next page/register. So what did you do to pass this?
There is no asterisks by that stuff it's not mandatory. I just filled all my address stuff in the boxes provided for address.

Why do they require an SSN? Any potential problems from giving it to them? I don't think I heard of any from the FTP process.

As mentioned by a few people earlier in this thread, i also did not see a section when submitting my petition to input banking details. However on the FAQ it does indeed state players will be paid by ACH transfer to the banking details provided when submitting the petition. Anyone have any leads or ideas of what is going on there?

Very awesome.

so my next question: is there any issue with claiming balances from multiple accounts?
There shouldn't be, especially as both accounts auto-populated for you. Looks like you're good to go.

Rich -- thanks so much to you and the PPA for battling through this and treating us UB/AP players the same as FTP and Stars players. I'm in a Google Group w/ a bunch of UB/AP players, and yesterday was unreal. We formed the group back in 2011, and no one knew what to do. But we wanted to do something. Periodically, someone would get a lead and suggest we all make phone calls to the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Southern District of New York, asking for them to treat UB/AP players the same as all the players who lost money.

To see this all finally come to fruition is amazing. I logged in yesterday, submitted my claim, and the amount on file was within $100 of the last balance I screenshotted in 2011. Couldn't be more pleased. Thanks again.

It states in the email that a requirement to being paid out is that "You must have deposited funds into an account with Absolute Poker". So does this mean that player balances that came through an initial transfer or freeroll are SOL?

I'm a US guy converted to CAD post PF. I called in yesterday, as my information wasn't populating. All they can do is use your last name and your non US address UB/AP had on file to confirm there is an entry in the system. They dont have access to player ID, nor the balance. You'll be instructed to fill the form out after the failed login page and wait ~2biz days. You don't have to fill in State/zip etc on the form.

It's very easy to call in, and is much more effective than email. No wait time for the call.

I'm a US player who changed my address to a Canadian address in Oct 2011.

I e-mailed them 24 hours ago and just received an e-mail back with my claim number.

Address listed was the Canadian address I used.

My account balance looks accurate!

Things are looking up for ROW players. You guys should be hearing something soon.

Pretty sure he's had a wide smile on his face ever since he got out of the market at the exact right time for 80 kajillion dollars.

Haha, a bit surprised, but definitely happy for you guys. Sent some messages out to some relevant oldschool UB players I knew that were excited to hear it, bit of a nostalgic hit on this one.

The lady I spoke to sounded like a temp worker who was reading off script, lol (as you would expect in these type of matters). Also an American who switched my address to a Canadian one post-BF, she at least confirmed that my old Canadian address was in their system (I had goofed yesterday and submitted my pre-BF US address in the form).

Sounds like you fill out the form to get your Petition/Control number (via email) and start proceeding from there (in writing). Or something.

(Those of us without a USA address on file when AP shut down, who didn't get the emails sent to the Americans).

You'd think they could have sent emails out to everyone, but maybe this is their way to still pay everyone out who requests, while giving priority to Americans/having some/more $$ leftover for SNDY (all the ROW punters will probably have no clue this is happening).

We now have official confirmation from GCG that Ultimate Bet is part of this remission.
