I still have not received an update or explanation for my claim. Filed it day one. Support has either not responded or said please check back in a few weeks. I've asked for a contact at the DOJ but they haven't given me one. I'm beyond frustrated.

you're not alone! I have the same thing going on, but one of my claims has been approved. No idea what the holdup is. Not much consolation, but some I hope.

The third wave has been approved.

I was in the second wave of players who got emailed in November saying 4-6 week timeline, but I still haven't received my check, so I emailed them yesterday to check in with them. Turns out they mailed it out mid January, but they sent it to the wrong address. They sent it to my current address, but with a different city and somehow two postal codes (my current one and the old postal code and city on the account). Waiting to hear back if they can remail it. If anyone has been waiting a while, it might be worth checking in with them.

Just got notification that my 3rd wave claim was approved. The important point to my claim was that I made it nearly two months.

Any news from someone out there? I have heard precisely nothing about my claim still. Last piece of information I got was two months ago saying that the DOJ was still processing my claim.

"Thank you for your email. Please be advised that all changes in the method of payment are one-off request and this will result in a delay in its processing. We do not currently have an estimated time frame for when you can expect to receive your payment. You are more than welcome to check back with us in a few weeks and we can provide a status update."
I changed check to bank wire.

I got an email saying that my remission request has been approve, and that I will receive my funds within 2-4 weeks. I know others have mentioned this message. How long after receiving this have you actually been receiving your funds, and is any contact required? (My phone number is out of service for the moment in case that could cause any problems)

Please let me know if anyone has receive their funds who file shortly after the updated remissions deadline yet. I filed mine merely 3 days later, and really need this money to get myself out of debt, and back on the tables.

Oh God, I guess I really need to check NVG more than once every 5 years.

Is there any chance of getting another crack at this, having way missed the deadline?

I expect going to the link in the first post and filing a claim would be a good first step.

Yes, I did. And also talked to them on the phone, but only got the info that it's done for now. So I was just wondering if anybody had a good inkling of whether the chances of it reopening were closer to "extreme long shot" or "they'll probably get to it".

I am well aware I'm an idiot for missing it in the first place.

The website says that they are paying out players who filed after the deadline, so you definitely have a chance.

I've still gotten no response from my claim filed on the first day it was available, so it doesn't seem to matter much. They keep telling me that the DOJ hasn't made a decision on mine yet.

Today I got a call back from the DOJ. If anyone else is interested, the office that is running this show is the Money Laundering and Asset Recovery Section. There's a number of the bottom right corner.

https://www.justice.gov/criminal-mlars

The update on my claim is that GCG filed it with the DOJ, but the DOJ for whatever reason has not approved it. I pushed back a bit because I filed two claims (one small, one kinda big) and the small one had been approved. The person I talked to at the DOJ said that my application wasn't being held for an audit or due to some deficiency, just that they haven't gotten to it yet despite me filing almost right away. In addition, they claimed that they have thousands of other claims to process. Not sure what I think about that given that this thread has died down so much and a lot of people seem to have gotten paid.

I was worried in the past that because I was getting rakeback that I was flagged as an 'affiliate' or 'pro' but they specifically say on the website now that rakeback is not a problem and anyone designated as an 'affiliate' or 'pro' would have a balance of 0.00 when they applied.

So it seems like my claim is actually caught up in the bureaucracy on the government side now. Would really like to resolve this after filing over a year ago.

Hopefully this helps someone else.

Hello guys, sorry to bother you guys for asking about this, but I am one of the many victims that still have money on Ultimate bet, have about $15k there. Its been 7 years and I kind of gave up, but from the looks of it, there might still be a grim of hope? Has anyone got their money back from Ultimate bet? Sorry if it is a silly question.

Well, I am one of the late ones that did not hear about this till October. I registered right away. Just today saw that they had sent me an email 1 1/2 months ago requesting banking info. I guess i get too many emails. I had written this money off years ago. It is such a relief that i will be getting my money. Thanks for all the information i received from this thread.
