We aren’t entitled to interest

As a funny addition, you would still have to pay taxes on the interest too

shouldn't we be entitled by the inflation?

anyway it does not even affect me, I just hate the current financial system and people get ****ed day in day out and seem to find it totally normal

These weren’t investment accounts. Not savings accounts.

I’m just glad we got our amounts back in full.

Never received any sort of pay to play setup, the rakeback deal I had was what was available to the public.

So I get to call back Monday. Just want to end this.
So called today because I didn't receive a call back. They were befuddled that I was expecting a call back. It appears like the message I got saying my claim was under review is not a change in status or something even special. As far as I know, they just aren't processing my claim yet. :/

No offense to the international people, you deserve your money too, but it's just crazy frustrating to watch two ROW payments go out when I can't even get an update on my claim from an american run program that I thought was supposed to prioritize americans.

It seems we're in the same situation. Definitely feeling just as frustrated. Praying that there is one final 3rd round of payments and it's getting announced soon. One time

But in this thread, no one's getting ****ed - they're getting money they never should have expected. I mean, if the government had seized all this money from AP & UB and held on to it all this time, I suppose you could try to make the case that the government owes interest on the money. But in this case, I'm pretty sure the majority, if not all, of the money is coming from the Poker Stars settlement. AP/UB ****ed everyone (shocking!), and now the government is making people good. I think the only place you could argue interest should be coming from is AP/UB, and that isn't happening for obvious reasons.

Or am I misunderstanding where these funds are coming from?

Make sure they have correct address. My check got returned to them, and they did not follow up after.

Filed claim after cutoff in October. I live on Long Island. Received a call back from someone on Long Island at the end of October. He told maybe I will receive a check before the end of the year or December. I called him in December, he told me maybe Jan or Feb.
January I spoke to someone else from the "project team". He said no one from phase 2 received a check yet meanwhile I was reading posts from petitioners who received checks from phase 2. This guy told me there will be a phase 3 but the department of justice moves very slow and that is just the way it is.
Basically these guys have no information that is useful.
I personally do expect to get my money but I do not expect it to come anytime soon.

How did you speak to someone on the project team? I’ve been told these people are impossible to talk to

Got a check today as well. Of course the smaller of my two balances but I'm sure the other one is coming soon.

And given how weak USD was in April 2011, I actually made some € in the process.

ROW player approved for the second wave here.

I just receive 3rd identical mail from the support saying that the check is not sent yet and to wait 4-5 weeks more...

This is getting ridiculous...

You waited 7 years. Relax. It’s on its way.

Dude it's perfectly reasonable to be frustrated with bad customer support.

As quickly as UB/AP is seemingly being paid out it sure would have been nice if we got paid first prior to the Full Tilt escapade.
