Just go back to the site and enter your AP email, username, and last name. It will populate the AP balance and then sign off on it.

Does someone want to give the cliffs on how this process works, how long it takes to get money, how you get money, etc? the FAQ on the remission website sucks.

I played on ub, and was able to file my claim.
I had 6 digits on there. Does anyone have any idea- guess what % on the dollar we will be getting back?

I know I filed a claim for Tusk Investment, they owned a bunch of microgaming skins back in the day (had 40kish stuck there when it went down)

took several years after I filed the claim to get the money back and I got roughly 16% back

Search your email account for @ultimatebet.com (or whatever this email was), I found older emails from Absolute that referenced my username.

NM, I got it. Here's the link:

https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr...e-poker-victim

Seemingly great news from the press release:

"Additionally, the Department of Justice has concluded that players of Absolute Poker who were unable to recover their funds from Absolute Poker are similarly situated to the eligible victims of Full Tilt Poker, in that Absolute Poker, like Full Tilt Poker, did not maintain funds sufficient to repay all of its players.

Accordingly, remaining Forfeited Poker Funds will be used to fund a claims process for eligible Absolute Poker victims. "

We know that the "Forfeited Poker Funds" totaled $547 million and they have only paid out around $118 million of that. So presumably there is plenty more to go around!

The filing deadline shown on the AbsolutePokerClaims.com website is June 9. I would expect, based on the way the FTP process went, that the first wave of remission payments (those who are just claiming the amount they already have on record as the balance) will be sent by the end of the year, or first quarter 2018. You give them a banking account (ABA Routing # and Account #) to send the money to by ACH. If the ACH transfer doesn't work (they messed up bank account numbers for a lot of people), then they mail a check a couple weeks later to the mailing address you provide.

100%. The money they got from the settlement with PokerStars exceeds all the money owed to players from FTP, AB and UB, so there shouldn't be any issue in paying out the full amounts.

TIN= Taxpayer Identification Number. In most cases, this is your Social Security number. TIN would usually be for someone who doesn't have a SSN (non-resident alien, foreigner, etc.). Call them and ask what to do if you don't want to enter your SSN online.
