I've been wave 1 (ROW / Austria), but the cheque never arrived (wrote about it some pages before). Waited until end of december, wrote them an email asking to reissuing the cheque. This was done on 29. december, it finally arrived on 17. january.

Hope everyone else will receive their share soon, good luck to everyone of you.

Hey guys,
US player in Oregon here. I got a check in the mail 4 days ago. It was for my old UB balance. Paid in full to the exact penny (hooray). By some standards it wasn't huge, but $1200 does bus a whole bunch of fishing bait, yes it does.

I have no idea what wave I am/was in. All I know is that I replied online to an e-mail received last June, and here I am with a check in hand from online pokers once again. it was fun while it lasted, and I kinda miss those days.

Overall through the years I took out a lot more than I put into UB. There were winning days and losing days. Hell, my hourly win rate was prolly way less than 4 bucks an hour, but I was getting paid to have fun, playing small stakes, and I liked it. I wasn't trying to make a living playing poker. I was there to have a good time and not lose moneys. I learned about bankroll management and game selection. I was one of those "old school" guys who never used a HUD (my how things have changed). The other big lesson I learned was not to leave more moneys online than you can afford to lose.

I signed up for 2+2 shortly after "Black Friday" and have been lurking ever since. Just wanna say "Thanks" to the community, and hope all who got stuck in that horrible DOJ action get paid.

All is well over here,
Buk

p.s. Wombat Poker is still a great site to play on.
p.p.s. I now hold my middle finger up to those who said we'd never get paid.

Im 2nd wave from Canada. Emailed yesterday and got a quick reply.

"The payments will be going out soon. We are only the 3rd party administrator and not the bank.

The bank is processing the payments right now and once the checks are printed the mailing should occur within the next 3 weeks.

Also can you please confirm your current mailing address?"

They "escalated" mine as well. Called me back with no new information. They refuse to give me an update, they just keep saying, "Your claim is being processed, please check back in 4-6 weeks". No idea why mine is taking so long.

Finally got something resembling an update on my claim. According to an e-mail, my petition is under review by the Department of Justice. I still have no idea why. I had two accounts, one UB and one AP both pre-merger without any sort of funny business. Had rakeback set up on both. Was not an affiliate on either. Never received any sort of pay to play setup, the rakeback deal I had was what was available to the public.

So I get to call back Monday. Just want to end this.

Hi guys...kind of a trip to see all these names from the past

I used to be a prop player at AP and probably played some of the most volume on the site under the names "HRDWRKDSCPLN" and "binkforfink". I sent about 20k to a ROW (New Zealand) player shortly after black Friday. Hes still waiting on check to arrive...

Everyone is going to pay their taxes right? Just because we were victims of fraud does not mean you don't owe taxes on income you made.

If you already paid taxes you are good

Also. A lot of the money will be return of investment. Which had already been taxed when earned.
