Yay i got 30 bucks back, Keno degen obv.

I too play on UB almost exclusively. Sucks cuz of their ridiculously shady past and constant negative pub. At the same time, I do find the games softer and although the rake is brutal at BBJ tables the fish playing more than make up for it imo. However i usually slum it at the 10nl-25nl and plo tables. I also find the tournaments have the perfect field sizes and structures for me. Everytime i see a tourney on stars or ftp with like 20k entrants thinking about the rungood necessary to ship that makes my head explode.

I have ridiculously quick deposit/withdraws that go perfect everytime as well. And I hear that is a problem on the big two. To be honest I would rather grind rush tables on Full Tilt but no rakeback makes it a no go(ive been denied rakeback on existing acct twice fwiw).

I would also like to move my entire roll (3kish) to Stars and make a run at Nova but their vip system confuses me and I have no idea how their rewards work, on UB rakeback gets deposited every month for a nice bankroll boost. Plus UB's own vip rewards +RB+Reload bonuses every week, make it more profitable for a micro player (i think).

Also considered Merge but not familiar at all with them. Feedback?

Anyway the point of this long crappy post is that I too am not very proud of playing on UB for what they did but its kinda hard to stop playing there when I have had nothing but a good experience with them.(Live support is the nuts) Kinda sucks to be honest but I feel like I dont have too many other options

Ninja Edit: I am not a shill for them

Cliff Notes:

UB spread a Keno game with it's RNG implemented so incompetently you would have thought I programmed it. While the game didn't directly cheat anyone, it didn't provide the random results players thought they were getting.

A player tips Noah and Thomas Bakkar, who verify the Keno game's RNG wasn't random and create this thread.

UB describes a vague problem that is a clear lie given the obvious evidence posted by Noah & Thomas and removes Keno game.

Joe Sebok publicly says players are being compensated.

Players are not compensated.

After many months, Noah points this out to Joe in a "private discussion".

Joe Sebok, for the infinite time, expresses puzzlement that the untainted and fully competent management at UB isn't doing what they told him they would do, and agrees that Noah can references their discussion publicly.

Then after Noah does this, Joe surprisingly lashed out, since a paid UB PR hack and representative discussing important UB issues with independent critics should expect a little privacy for those discussions, right bro? Dude, I mean, come on!

Finally, UB pays back players, almost 6 months later. The new untainted UB management proves their mettle yet again, by repeatedly lying about the problem even now in the refund email.

Joe Sebok again proves the high level of competence and moral flexibility that UB thinks is worth $30,000 per month by repeatedly giving assurances that aren't true to help cover up UB incompetence/malfeasance, while lashing out at critics who repeatedly victimize Joe by having the audacity to publicly point out that most of what he and his employer says isn't true.

Fortunately, this time as far as we know, Joe did not attempt to blackmail or threaten Noah, or Noah's significant other, but there is still time for Joe to post a public threat on a 2+2 thread towards some random 2+2er and/or their female companion.

You left out the fact that they lied about what happened and that the lie that they chose to make shows that they don't even know what they're supposed to be pretending to do.

Dear Ce1skaIMO,

As a valued customer and Keno player at our site, we want to update you on an issue we were made aware of that suggested the Keno game we offered to players was operating in a non-random way.

Our early analysis of this claim stated that there was a flaw specific to the game logic in ‘ten play’ only on Traditional Keno and no confirmed issue with the Random Number Generator (RNG). Upon notice of the flaw, we contacted our third party software provider of Keno, Betsoft Gaming (BSG) for a more comprehensive investigation and subsequently removed all Keno games from our site until the investigation was complete and all corrective actions taken.

Our joint investigations with BSG confirmed that while the RNG for Keno was functioning properly, it was selecting from a pre-existing data set that was not as extensive as it should have been. The results were in turn random, but from a limited data set rather than from the full data set from which RNG is expected to choose.

While the issue stemmed from our third party software provider, we accept responsibility for offering our players a Keno game that had the described issue. Therefore refunds have been issued to all Keno players of ‘five Play’, ’ten Play’ and all Traditional Keno during the period those games were offered . Any net loss you experienced while playing Keno with us, no matter how small has been credited to your account. Your account has been credited with:

Total Amount: $21.20

We wish to offer our sincere apologies for any confusion or frustration this issue may have caused you, and we thank you for your patience while we have endeavored to correct this situation. We also want to restate our commitment to providing a safe, secure and fair gaming environment for our players.

If you have any questions about your refund, please write to us at casinosupport@absolutepoker.com

Thank you for your understanding, support and continued confidence in our game offerings.

The Absolute Poker Team
meh.

I remember playing this game last year, and I actually won a small amount. I saw some sort of pattern where I could increase my bets using the same numbers, and each time I won, I would pick a new set of numbers and lose a couple times at low stakes, then hit a winner once I upped the stakes. However I never hit a winner that paid out huge, it was always the lowest odds.
It was very time consuming. I would spend 2 hours playing to turn $20 into $50.
I probably made about $200-$300 over a month period. Then they must have "fixed" it, cause my system stopped working.
