65. Etiquette Violations
Repeat etiquette violations will result in penalties. Examples include but are not limited to: persistent delay of the game, unnecessarily touching other players’ cards or chips, repeatedly acting out of turn, betting out of reach of the dealer, abusive conduct, and excessive chatter.

The rule exists to stop the kind of bs we saw from Kassouf. It's not even close to ambiguous. The lack of effective action from Jack Effel was disgraceful. I suspect that the affected players have potential legal recourse against WSOP.
I'm also fairly certain that most of the posters supporting WK in this thread have never played a $10k live event and really aren't commenting on anything more than an 'I reckon' basis. Those of us that do play such events regularly have a right to play them within the rules.
Oldsilver you are quoting TDA rules, except WSOP does not use TDA rules, WSOP has its own unique set of rules (
http://www.wsop.com/2016/2016%20WSOP...nt%20Rules.pdf), albeit similar to TDA. The relevant WSOP rules are:
Rule 48:
Participant or staff abuse will not be tolerated. A participant will incur a penalty up to and including disqualification for any abuse towards another participant or staff member, and the participant could be asked to leave the property. Repeated etiquette violations, including, but not limited to, touching another participant’s cards or chips, body, or clothing,
delay of game and excessive chatter will result in penalties.
Rule 47:
Any participant who
taunts another participant through theatrics or gestures or engages in any form of inappropriate behavior intended to disrupt other participants in the tournament will be subject to penalty in accordance with Rules 40, 111, and 112.
