Yea but if your gona get frustrated and snap at least say something cool instead of just showing that your a giant ***sy

I really wanted kassouf to get there.
We should run a poll. Interesting to see amount of 2+2 that would of wanted benger to get two outered

We could call it the douchbag index.

Re: "9 high like a boss" aka "Check your privilege"
"Check your privilege" (said at least three times by Benger), has to be one of the all-time douchiest things I've ever heard a poker player say out of frustration to another player.
Maybe for the Final Table, Jack Effel can create a Safe Space next to the Penn & Teller Theater so Benger can seek solace from the Triggers and Microaggressions of playing poker.

Re: "9 high like a boss" aka "Check your privilege"
Benger should have looked at Kassouf's jam and said "if you fold and show, I'll show. Just want to keep it friendly," repeated it several times, then slowrolled the AA.

Seriously. If Benger had said "Consider things from other people's perspective" instead of "check your privilege" (which means the exact same thing in this context), very few people would be criticizing him. Kassouf was annoying, Benger is telling him that he is annoying even though he isn't breaking the rules. Benger's account is 100% accurate and most people agree with every part of this characterization.
But wait, he used a term that you associate with SJW. Privilege. THEREFORE, it's against freedom of speech (lol?), Kassouf is the good guy because he is politically incorrect (lol?), we need to defend him to show that we aren't part of the SJW group to this community that clearly holds no love for SJWs (btw, isn't that called virtue-signalling? Cause I thought that was a bad thing)...
Anyway, propagandists have done a very good job. A much better job than I thought they would have. Like I said, kind of terrifying, and kind of depressing too.

Hi Benger. Have to say your abusive, entitled, racist behavior was pretty lame. You are the villain against which you purportedly rail.
You should apologize for your meltdown.

Re: "9 high like a boss" aka "Check your privilege"
I completely lost interest when Kassouf was eliminated. Not interested in anyone that's left. At least the final table will be a safe space for them. They should just do a 9 way split and avoid any confrontations.

hehe, i like that.
would be better if it happened after whatever floorman currently with the microphone announcing the action says it... "ok, heads up to the flop....and the flop comes ace nine six....griffin checks" - entire rail, enthusiastically, "YOUR PRIVILEGE!"
benger then looks up at the TD and gives a "whats this verbal abuse all aboot, eh? im being bullied!"

Niwiski Stoopidface - His poor sportsmanship was extremely weak, he will live to regret not shaking a downed opponent's hand, typical sheep.
Vayo - bandwagon child, obnoxious, typical entitled millenial, exaggerator & liar, could win the main event and will still accomplish less in life than a run of the mill landscaper.
Josephy - straight bully.
Blesnick - glass houses, stones etc.
Benger - Regressive leftist poster boy & f'ing psychopath.

Re: "9 high like a boss" aka "Check your privilege"
What blows my tits off the most is that the mob thought they would come across well, it might be a lot of sneaky editing. But the 'check your privilege' line sold me as a hateboy of Benger. Super entertaining though. The only people who came out well were the people who said nothing.
They probably had a bunch of interviews and a ton of clips and just edited it all down to the complaining moments, so we shouldn't be too hard on them. The crew did their job, they created a buzz.
But man, Benger. That line is gona keep you up at night for the next 20 years, no doubt he regrets saying that.

Looking forward to the WSOP Final table
Still haven't watched the video from the op, or any since - it sounds like the table talk got very heated!

Cliff Josephy has the smuggest, most punchable face in poke...scratch that...of anyone in anything ever.
The VT we saw of him earlier where it just amounted to him showing how great his life is....how were we actually supposed to react to that? Was it supposed to make us all warm and fuzzy inside that an ex banker has a great life?
I've been rooting against him hard since that vomit inducing clip.
The way he acted around Kassouf in general was appallingly childish as well. He's clearly quite controlling and a character like Kassouf was well out of his control and he couldn't handle it.
Telling the rest of the table they were in it together was just terrible. The extent Will got under his skin was surprising for an older gent.
Will Kassouf. I found his patter pretty grating immediately when it became obvious he had the same few lines over and over. Tanking on easy decisions is unforgiveable as well.
However, because we know he only has the same few lines in his pocket, the accusations of him being abusive is just laughable. All he says is about showing/not showing etc for hours and hours. Annoying? Of course. Abusive? Not from anything we were shown.
Vayo said he was abrasive and obnoxious. I've watched all the episodes back to back and he always seemed to have a smile on his face no matter what was happening.
Even when the crybaby c*nt slammed over his aces at the end he was still cool calm and collected and had a big smile on his face even though he knew he was about to get knocked out of the biggest payday he will likely ever have in poker.
You can't say the same for any of the others.
F*ck that utter CHILD who wouldn't shake Will's hand as well. That was absolutely appalling.
Lastly, I wonder how it will feel to be a global laughing stock within the global poker community - 'Check your privelege' will hopefully haunt Benger forever.
This has to be at once the cringiest, funniest and in many ways saddest line I've ever heard uttered on a poker table. I still can't quite belive he said it. I can't really believe anyone said it with a straight face even when it surfaced a few years ago.
In summary...they pretty much all looked and acted like utter children because someone took them so far out of their comfort zone. Kassouf is also a massive dickhead as well for slowing the game down to a brutal pace.
In the end, Josephy and Benger in-particular should be choking in embarrassment for the way they acted and what they said. I doubt they will though.
Actually, stick miserable casper the ghost wannabe Vayo in there as well for the exagerations he put in to everyone about Kassouf.
Oh yeah, and that poker pro (can't remember his name) who had a pop at all poker players for being dickheads without having the awareness to notice that he was also a big old dickhead himself. That was bad as well.
All round, a pretty sad look in at the poker world.
I'm team absolutely anyone but Josephy. I will cry if he wins.

Most of this is so wrong as we only saw their bad side due to WKs constant stalling and "speechplay". All well and good watching it for 20 minutes and thinking its fun but 10 hours in while hes making the whole table miserable with his intentional tanking is another matter.
A few years ago i was on his table in a £500 event in the UK. Was the same story taking forever to act getting the clock called on him every few hands. Managed to slowroll him for about 30 seconds when he shoved the river and its the only time i have ever done it. Instead of a outcry at my poor sportsmanship the whole table cheered. Can't believe how many people are defending him trust me if you had experienced his pace of play you would feel differently.
A normal person after having the clock called on them 100s of times over the years would reassess their behaviour and think hmm maybe i am taking to long. He knows exactly what hes doing none of it is friendly as he claims.
Hard to defend GBs check your privilege rant that was cringeworthy. Seems to me Niwinski and johnnybax wouldn't say a bad word to anyone at the table unless provoked for hours on end.

I thought Christoforou was hilarious every time he said to Kassouf "Shut Up". The funniest moments of the Main Event so far in my opinion.
Other than overplaying a couple of hands at the end of the tournament, he played and held up fairly well.

Ummm, doesn't she ignore everybody at the table? Watching paint dry is more exciting.

Not to mention, that Bleznick shouldn't have even been allowed to play.
I guess that's what happens when you're friends with Phil Hellmuth.
i don't know if anyone read Jack Effels interview with Pokernews but it's so cringeworthy I think it needs to be seen by all.

Re: "9 high like a boss" aka "Check your privilege"
One thing to consider is these guys have been playing grueling sessions of poker non-stop for many days in a very life changing stressful type situation. This could maybe be a reason why everyone hasn't been on their best behavior.
They did have a nice chunk lined up, but winning 500k isn't all that much after taxes. Really wouldn't change someones lifestyle much who was already living decent. Winning 3-8 mil you can invest and retire. So there's some serious **** on the line if you don't feel like grinding poker for the rest of your damn life.

Re: "9 high like a boss" aka "Check your privilege"
I would love if both these players somehow made the ft after that hand. Like a split pot or something. I can already imagine Will saying things like "I check.. my privilege" during hands.
I also love how all the anti kassouf people always state things like "If you like kassouf you are just as stupid as he is". Really, am I stupid because I want to watch fun, exciting episodes of poker? Lol.

It's true though. Kassouf is a guy who goes to the poker table and tries to annoy everyone on purpose. The people who like him are generally teenage trolls who also like to annoy other people on purpose. This thread is a great example of that. There has yet to be a Kassouf supporter in here that actually sounded like an adult.
I mean the whole, "omg what a pussy SJW" already screams "I'm a 13 year old 4chan user who thinks I'm super edgy" but the whole argument of Kassouf actually being entertaining is probably even stupider. Like your post, where you equate Kassouf to "fun, exciting poker", which is a huge stretch at the very least and probably just plain untrue for most people.
