I thought Kassouf made for very entertaining tv viewing. OTOH, if I was at his table, I would have hated him and his antics. I think, this is something the tournament staff should resolve. Kassouf did not cheat. He acted very inappropriately but there doesn't seem to be any rule against it, despite how long the WS had been ongoing. Just my 2 cents.

Yes, technically no rules were broken, but he was still being an unbearable ass and making the game unpleasant for everyone who he was sitting with. yea i agree and someone earlier shared a story about how will joined a game once and the table broke shortly after because of the tanking. you can say it possibly gives him an edge, but it really isn't good for the game if people aren't willing to put up with it if they don't have to.

Actually, there are several WSOP Rules that could be interpreted as being technically broken and therefore penalizable:

Participant or staff abuse will not be tolerated. A participant will incur a penalty up to and including disqualification for any abuse towards another participant or staff member, and the participant could be asked to leave the property. Repeated etiquette violations, including, but not limited to, touching another participant’s cards or chips, body, or clothing, delay of game and excessive chatter will result in penalties.

Rule 47:
Any participant who taunts another participant through theatrics or gestures or engages in any form of inappropriate behavior intended to disrupt other participants in the tournament will be subject to penalty in accordance with Rules 40, 111, and 112.
