If you check YouTube poll, I believe majority had a positive attitude on him. That's YouTuber voting but I don't mind playing with him but my thinking may be wrong as I don't have definite answers or edvendence. I'm not saying I'm right, I'm just stating my opinion.

I hope you realize that those statements are not very similar.
I never said will was good to his opponent, I said I rather play with will than a hoodie online pro with headphones.

nut low is a poker player who intentionally pisses people off knowing they can't do anything back because of the situation they are in.

Don't get me wrong, he's testing people to gain an advantage but within the rules. If he breaks the rule, give him a penalty. All the Pro who play online poker using programs are the same. They are looking for an edge.

His "speech-play" is one thing, his tanking on every single decision and non-decision is another. He is not good for the game. Thankfully he doesn't make the final table and will never go anywhere near this deep again.

While the tanking **** is annoying people seem to forget that there are notorious tankers in every tournament and every year at the WSOP main event. Yet they don't have the entire table ganging up on them, calling the floor every other hand, throwing insults and tilting.

So yeah while the tanking sucks it's still ridiculous the way these "pros" reacted.

What utter nonsense. He didn't even want the TD there but since the TD was there and accusing HIM of insulting other players at the table he simply brought up the point that he hadn't insulted anyone and that in fact several of the other players at the table had directly insulted him and not even received a warning.

Regardless of whether you enjoy watching Will or not, at least get the facts straight before making yourself look like an idiot.

I agree. Josephy has had an excellent reputation (deserved) for many years, but this telecast made him and others look like bullies. At least the British guy's insult was mildly creative, likening Kassouf to a parrot. Calling him a clown may well be true, but it mostly shows that Kassouf got under Cliff's skin, and that obviously isn't to Cliff's credit.

Tanking is massively annoying and I've become a clock hound to those people that routinely do it. I don't object at all when people retaliate against tankers, although I think there are much more effective retaliations than what ESPN showed here.

It is much better to be funny/mean than mean/mean, and the table pretty clearly lost sight of that.

It isn't the fact that Kassouf talks that bothers me. Danny -- who I've played with a fair number of times -- is also quite talkative. But he's a very entertaining, self-effacing conversationalist who doesn't let his talk get in the way of his play. Kassouf is an entirely different kettle of fish.

I quite literally cannot imagine a circumstance where I'd complain to a TD about someone calling me a name. Kassouf getting people to call him names struck me as being a little like an NBA or soccer flop, or nudging someone in the ribs until he slugs you -- it's the retaliation that always gets the penalty.

I suspect I'd try to get under Kassouf's skin, but I'd hope to be rather more clever and creative about it than calling him third-grade names.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and Cliff Josephy is buddy buddy with Jack which is why the table was allowed to continue bullying will to no end?

My wild guess would be that he doesn't know him from Adam but Stacey needs a backer.

Agreed.

Last year was insane with the tanking.

Maybe guys like Joesephy and Vayo feel less inclined to attack epic preflop tankers like Zvi Stern.

Pretty sure Bleznick or Mr. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that" would rather sit in a pool of their own urine than confront a guy like Stern.

To Stern's credit, he did pick up the pace after criticism.

The fact that you have to embellish and exaggerate to try and make your point shows your point is invalid. The shove was for over 20bb and 1/6 of Kassouf's stack. Some of that 12 minute tank was taken up with Effel interfering.
Both players rivered top pair and there was a bet and a raise and a call.
Hallaert also looked him up with 4th pair which was uncharacteristic.

Please watch the episode again and notice multiple times him whining about being called names. It's like a crybaby child saying, "he called me a name first!"

If you are going to be a self proclaimed "boss" and you're trying to get on peoples nerves, you should be able to handle being called a "clown." Absolutely pathetic.

Nobody likes a bully, but you can't intentionally piss people off and expect absolutely no feedback. And when you get it, don't act like a victim.

It's hard to imagine anyone of reasonable intelligence thinking this guy's actions are anything but reprehensible. If you think that the pace of play isn't a problem for casual players, you're nuts. It's one of the major reasons I went from a frequent casual live player to someone who virtually never plays anymore.

I'm wondering if most of the people posting here don't fully realize how bad the tanking was, and that edited TV replay is only going to hint at how bad it was.

Playing only 26 hands in a 2-hour level is absurd, that's not even 3 orbits!

Being annoyed at the incessantly badgering "speech play" is legitimate, but even more legitimate is being pissed off at the absurd tanking and single-handedly dramatically slowing down the game.

Given you have 15k posts on a poker forum I'm sure you are not a casual player.

Apart from that, **** Will Kassouf. This was painful to watch and it's even worse they decided to build an entire episode around his bs.

What was kinda hilarious was the ´one player to a hand´ comment from the TD. That´s the only time I was legitimately going 'lol wtf that doesnt make any sense'.

No, it's pretty much your opinion that does.

Worst part of that whole thing is the "if you don't stop its 2 rounds". Do your job, be patient and deliver the message until it sinks in but don't trip.

Admittedly, I have only seen the clip with the lady and then this last episode. From that episode, everyone at that table acted far worse than Kassouf. And the TD was clearly clueless. One player to a hand? Lol.

Charlie and Jack both seemed borderline incoherent to me. Invoking the one player to a hand rule in that spot means that Jack fundamentally does not understand that rule.

Basically, everyone looked bad: Kassouf looked like a babbling, tanking twit, the rest of the players looked like a third-grade gang, and Jack and Charlie looked like authoritarian tools ("you don't like my incoherent ruling? Okay then, TWO orbits!)

Still, I enjoyed the telecast. Some of the hands were interesting and some of Norm's jokes funny.

Thought the fish and chips guy handled him well. Pushed back but didn't make it personal. Josephy decided to round up a posse and looked like an ass. Vayo lol what a sissy boy. TD and floor seemed clueless as to how to effectively deal with it or communicate respectfully. What a ****show. Paging Matt Savage.

Bleznick makes me cringe whenever he talks.

9 high like a boss guy obviously super tilting too. Don't know what I would do if I was in Johnny Bax spot.
