His "speech-play" is one thing, his tanking on every single decision and non-decision is another. He is not good for the game. Thankfully he doesn't make the final table and will never go anywhere near this deep again.

Everyone can see that an automatic shot-clock is the future, so why wait -- put it in next year.

Vayo came across worse, but he had to openly lie and cry to do it.

Only makes sense for featured tables. Can't see 400 tables being shot clocked.

Or, maybe, when they are down to 100 players

Change the rule/ add a live time bank(I'm all for it). Until then, shut up.

I'm actually kind of surprised that the other 8 were all so visually tilted. It's the exact reason he kept doing it. Yes, I would have been bored, but I would have loved the fact that I have 7 tilted players and a chatbox at my table. I may have even started reverse visual tilting, making "the clown" think I'm tilted by him and gunning for him, and letting the other 7 think "we are on the same team".

He had 8 grown men freaking out tilted as hell. Last episode the two hero calls he got were 100% because they were pissed at him. Even that a8 ship vs his 33 might have been induced by emotion. I'm a fan.

The other players were completely out of line. Will actually had some real hands and needed time to think, this is top 100 in Main. Vayo is a nit he was just waiting for AA anyways and Josephy was a tool. All of them were completely out of line in giving will time to think in key spots. Maybe his preflop stuff was a bit much but during hands shut **** up.

If I paid 10k to enter a tournament and Josephy called me a clown I would demand he take a penalty.

Effel showed up again too having no idea what's going on and says "you can't talk when other people have a decision, and you arrent giving them enough time to think". Could that be anymore the exact reversal of what is happening.

So you're saying you would want Jack Effel to create a Safe Space for you to deal with the Emotional Trigger of being called a "Clown"?

How about if he called everybody a "Clown" and not just you, would that placate your desires for Social Justice and Inclusivity?

WSOP rule re headphones? Not allowed when in the money or if at feature table? I wouldn't have heard a word he said but his stalling would have tilted me. I would have called the clock on him multiple times.

Are you having a laugh, mate? There is no "conflict" other than he's intentionally and repeatedly violating the rules talking about his hand; he's engaged in time wasting every single hand. It's been explained to you numerous times in this thread.

Being called a clown once is fine but he took it too far. Also Will didn't attack him, Cliff just straight up insulted him.

Also spoiler, Gordon Vayo spoiled next week's episode on twitter.

Kill me.

Hes taking ages on all the hands you don't see so when he does actually have a decision he (rightly) gets the clock called on him. The boy who cried wolf is the perfect analogy here.

Everybody else at the table would get 5-10 minutes without a clock and rightly so but when you have a guy slowing it down on purpose to tilt people of course he should get the minimum amount of time.

Think the intentional stalling is borderline cheating myself. Sort of thing they need to bring in a new rule for next year.

If so, he is remaining true to form. One hundred percent disgrace of a "man."

One of the players said "he heard" Will berated a woman. He never berated anyone. Ever. Even when Will was attacked verbally he remained respectful. I heard Berger say in an interview that he was given wrong info about how Will treated Stacey. He said he thought he had taunted her. After seeing telecast, he said he would have reacted differently to Will. I can't believe that Jack is so clueless. Will can ask if he wants a call or fold.

That hand with Stacy was a clear case of Will incessantly badgering and trying to coerce conversation from a player who clearly wanted none of it. It didn't allow her to think clearly as all she could hear was nonstop badgering from this clown.

I think there will be a rule adopted that if your opponent has clearly indicated he wants no part of conversation with you, you can't continue to incessantly badger and attempt to coerce conversation.

Like 2 posts back you were advocating against safe spaces, but now you want one? Which is it?

Exactly.
Also Kassouf often claims he uses some lawyer tactics, but I don't think any of it would be allowed in a court of law.
Probably why he isn't a lawyer.

'Objection: badgering the witness'
'Objection sustained. You will stop this now Mr Kassouf.' - Judge
(Kassouf ignores the judge and persists by using sign language and hand signals instead. Jury laughs ).
'You are disrespectful and disrupting the courts proceedings. I hold you in contempt of court. 1 round penalty.' - Judge
*bangs gavel* lol

Ok point taken. But being called a clown is a bit different than, when action is on you for a big decision, to have your opponent nonstop badgering you and trying to coerce you into conversation, repeatedly asking the same questions over and over again. It's really not fair to the player who is trying to think and make a decision. For this instance it's not about safe spaces and hurt feelings, it's about letting someone think and make a decision without nonstop verbal badgering and attempted coercive conversation.

I know I would not like it if I had a big decision for most or all of my chips, and the player who put me to this decision was nonstop badgering me trying to engage in conversation that I wanted no part of. I think there will be a rule adopted for next year to eliminate the "badgering of your opponent when he has a decision" type of "speech play".

some interesting statistics in the comments there.

in one 2 hour level on day 7 Kasouffs table played 26 hands vs anothers 40. Seems reasonable the others at the table were getting aggravated when playing for 8 million dollars.
