If the goal of these broadcasts is to assure WSOP $0 from me in the future, they are doing a fine job.

seriously? no wonder the poker community is so easily scammed. A bunch of girly boys scared of conflict.

No wonder Chris Ferguson can steal a gazillion dollars then play at the WSOP so freely. Grow a pair ya big bunch of pansies.

He wasn't being polite. He was apologizing for speaking during a hand he was not involved in, to the man who was all in while he and others (including the td at the behest of no one in the hand) took five minutes and more to berate a player (not for taking too much time) for asking "do you want a call".

Anyone interfering with a hand you are not involved in is a supreme idiot.

Most poker players are male, but very few are men.

That's because existing players who can't take a little conflict aren't their target demographic.

all Stacy's fault! if she calls off w/QQ and doublea none of this ''9highlikeaboss'' nonsense happens.

also, played with Will in numerous UK live events. He's talkative and uses the same lines but nowhere near as bad as he was on TV table. He does take a long time to act but probably not as long as on TV table.

was recently told a story about him from a live cash player. he was playing in really fun 7handed deep 2/5 456 PLO game at the Vic in London a few months back. A player got up and Will sat down with a 50bb stack and slowed the game down so much that it broke within 30 mins because no-one wanted to play with him.

What Kassouf is doing is the same as tanking. The so called speech play is nothing but a repetitive string of words that fill the total silence normally associated with serial tankers.
He's not thinking about what he's saying and he's not even paying attention to his opponent most of the time when he argues that he's looking for information.

His version of speech play should be renamed tanking with noise.

The frustrated reactions from his tablemates are the same reactions you get when a player is tanking in silence, tanking before they look at their cards etc.

You could make a Kassouf doll with a string to pull that plays one of his 20 lines.
It would sell one unit. To Kassouf.

I watched this episode last night off Kassouf's FB page, he told me there were going to be some edgy parts. I didn't realize how passive aggressive some of these kids are. By kids, I mean grown men who don't know how to grow some skin or some balls. In any cash game I have played or run, Kassouf's actions, although a bit tense, would be perfectly fine.

It was clear that mob mentality took over and Jack Effel gave the kids what they wanted. Bleznick was hilarious though, he was at least clearly showing how he felt and not being sarcastic.

We should all be grateful to Kassouf because his actions will finally bring about what is much needed in poker, a shot clock. Anyone in this thread that is on his dick, I guarantee your opinion would be different if you had to sit with him for hours playing a mere 15 hands per hour. His "speech-play" is one thing, his tanking on every single decision and non-decision is another. He is not good for the game. Thankfully he doesn't make the final table and will never go anywhere near this deep again.

They are like little kids who whine to the teacher when another kid is bugging them, instead of sticking up for themselves. Complete embarrassment to poker.

Can you define "sticking up for themselves" here? Should they be threatening him? Physically attacking him? Tanking themselves for ten minutes just to prove the point?

For what the TV showed I like the way Kassouf carries himself.

That being said, his tactics are suspicious and can be done only one time, and makes sense that one time is used in the biggest tournament in the would.

For that much money using any kind of edge in it the rules is understandable/forgivable. Now I am sure is not acting like that (wasting massive amounts of time, an putting players on tilt) in every tournament he plays, I am sure he is a smart guy.

Those guys were not tilted by his talking, they were tilted by the clocking and the time wasting that he was using to intentionally frustrate people. The talking is good for television, but you can't possibly think his tanking every hand is justified.
How do people not understand this?

i wanna be able to call him what he really is. motherfcukeing mental patient. I wanna be able to kick his ***** teeth in. is that manly enough for you girly boy? bring on the real conflict or stfu and play.

See Andrew Christoforou's response to him for the proper way to deal with these types of players.

The first episode it was funny.

Many many episodes later it's unbearable.

Even if what he is doing is within the rules when you do it to the point where you are making everyone else uncomfortable, annoyed, and slowing the game down it should be stopped. Spirit of the game, taunting, delaying the game, whatever, put an end to it.

Anyone that says he's good for the game is wrong IMO.
