Sort of, and sort of. Got about 9/10ths of an MFA at UCLA's Animation Workshop, but my achilles' heel was that I couldn't draw worth ****. I was always more of a writer/director and all of my films featured stick figures or cut-outs. Fortunately for me the new xtranormal software is the perfect tool for quick and dirty character animation. I'm not going to pimp out any of my other works or websites cuz I don't want this thread to get moved or edited (learned that the hard way). But PM me and I can send you info and my visual CV link.

I'll pass along the kudos. Jake's a ****ing genius with words. His post with the original Raven poem is the only time I've actually jumped out of my chair, and I thought it deserved the full video treatment. Nathan, the narrator, is brilliant as well. He was at UCLA Theater with me and always reminded me of a young Vincent Price or Alan Rickman.
