Trying to gauge intelligence of someone who doesn't even speak the language makes you look suspect not him. Dude seems way to boring to be any type of troll unless it's the lamest troll ever.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with gauging intelligence from a few posts. Defending him on that is beyond idiotic. And I'm saying judging by those posts that he most likely is not intelligent enough to superuse without being caught.

He's probably a cheater, but I checked back on my stats on Pokerstars:

Profit $102,234 in my first 132 MTTs at an ROI of 244% (Jan 15, 2006 until Jan 16, 2007: the day I won the 100R twice)

It then took me another 490 MTTs until March 9, 2008 to exceed this profit on Stars. By then my ROI on Stars was 80% (the day I finished 3rd in the Sunday Warm-Up; luckily I was making money on other sites in the meantime).

Final stats when I stopped tracking / playing online seriously (June 7, 2009):

Pokerstars: Profit $143,400 over 1417 MTTs at 51% ROI
All Sites: Profit $228,859 over 3168 MTTs at 41% ROI

Conclusion: you can run hotter than the sun over a short sample size, but it won't last unless you're cheating!

So why did you stop cheating?

I forget why, if it was mentioned, but the fact he was questioned or temp banned on Stars should raise a ton of flags, they are the "security" king.

You're probably the smart one in all of this. You found a skin that is owned and operated by the same people that own and operate the software the network is run on. Somehow, they have no clue how to detect anything OOL happening. Run it up & see you in Vegas next summer.

How did he finish up? I went to bed, saw he was like 5th with 18 to go or something. He also finished 14th in the $22 50k guaranteed.

44bars got $40k yesterday. For like fifth place. Just unreal. How can someone run so good if he’s not a cheat

I looked up 44bars stats. Dude is up $240k profit and has only been playing for 6 months on WPN. Over 600 MTTs. Something doesn’t seem right

we all know they are cheating. you think nobody at WPN took some lessons learned from UB/AP scandal? it will be very hard to prove anything along these lines as they are not going to be as stupid and bold as Russ Hamilton and co.

Ya a person can definitely run hot for short periods of time. This might be the story with 44bars, along with a combination of him maybe being a very good player. The controversy is about his past with pokerstars. He has admitted to being kicked off on that site, and then all of a sudden kicking but on ACR.

I wonder if people in this thread would also deny that Qui Nguyen, Jerry Yang and Jaime Gold won WSOP Main Events. NO ONE IS THAT LUCKY GUYS!

That's a terrible comparison. That's one live tournament versus multiple online tournaments on a network with notoriously poor security won by someone booted off PokerStars.

Mark Newhouse made the back to back WSOP Main Event Final tables with 6k+ fields! He HAD TO BE CHEATING!

I was at 2 final tables at the same time on AP/UB...won 1 and got 7th in the other. The gold old days...

The next morning I woke up to see the "FBI shut this place down" message on Pokerstars. True story...I cashed out the night before, but the transfer was reversed and never went through. Black Friday was especially frustrating for me.

44bars seems like he's running hot in higher buy in MTT's with Sit and Go sized fields. It just doesn't seem that surprising to me. I remember making the final table on the $3 rebuy on Pokerstars back to back and that was a field of 5,000+ both times. And, I wasn't the only player at the final table that made it back to back, either. A month prior to this I got 3rd place out of 33,000 in what is now the Sunday Storm. I don't think I played more than 50 MTT's between these runs, either.

I only played about 500 tournaments total that year, as well. Runs happen.
