it is.. a lot easier... than you may think... to figure out... head up..... preflop prices... against... a.... range...of possible hands
any problems like this.. is this simple..

if you have queens and know you are up against aces, kings or ace king.. you simply realize that of the 16 times he has AK.. you win 9 of the 12 times he has aces or kings.. you win about two.. thus your chances against such a range is 11 out of 28

This is 2p2.. poker cast...poker cast....

I love the way he calls it simple, with 3 possible holding. Imagine making a mental calculation of a A10+, A2+, 55+, KJ+ range.

more great commercials from the Raymer/Pollack episode...
"should you find yourself in a position where you need to win and you're playing against amatures. you should play NL Omaha 8/b.. its a pretty dumb game IMO... but it can be found here and there.. including the internet... here's a game where throwing away the nuts is not only possible but is very often the right play.... think about it.. if you have opponents who have not thought about it, its pretty hard to lose."

i lol'd

And every pause sounds like an obscene phone caller's breathing at you. Maybe something akin to the sound effects of a horror movie.

Sklansky's interludes are unique.

Thought it was just me confused by this, figured he knew what he was meant to say but was distracted by goats.

me too, but I'm not sure which is worse...sklansky's or colin moshman's. Colin sounds like he's got a voice modulator and is being interviewed on Dateline from the witness protection program.

I have, on at least two occasions, been listening at work and laughed out loud just hearing his voice. I don't mean that in a mean way at all, it just amuses the hell out of me.
