As a non-PLO-grinder, i'd still like to have Danzer (or another mixed-game sicko, maybe Fresh_oO_d, as he commented in your thread?).
mixed grinder would be sweet. maybe shack-harris or that live grinder guy who there was a 2p2 thread about back in the summer (blanking on name but he grinding up through arizona games or something and was playing with doyle/other in bobbys room a lot at 1/2k ish mixed). Name might be Brian something.

I will have Brandon on. I told him when he stopped sleeping around with other podcasts that I want to have him on to discuss GTO for the best text message photos to send to a male friend. I really don't know many mixed game guys outside of Brandon and Stinger. Will try to reach out to some mixed game regs to show some love

Show some love = send some Asians wearing pink tops to them?

Anyways, good job getting in touch with some masters of the MGG (mixed game grind).

Much respect for what you're doing Joey

I listened to a couple and like them but they take too long for the benefit I personally get out of them. One way to get me to listen more would be a sort of index of broad themes you talk about throughout a podcast. Eg I loved hearing about Leforts investment but don't really care for his fitness advice. Would be sweet if there was a description like min 1 - 15 girls, 16-30 tank top gto, 30 - 45 fitness, 45 -60 business or something like that. Might not be feasible in practice, idk.

Keep it up!

indexing a long podcast is a great idea and is done quite a bit , the downside is that it takes time and someone to do it, but i believe with these type of podcasts would be a very good idea.

ceegee and Fresh_oO_D both have already posted in this thread, and would be great guests, imo.

ceegee plays all Stud-Games at highest stakes on PS, and also mixed-games and MTT's etc. He is also a coach on some site, a mexico-refugee, has spent some time in Berlin lately etc

Fresh_oO_D plays everything from highstakes 8-Game cash, over all kind of MTT-variants at highest stakes, and likely other stuff I don't know of.

Ty papi Kaby

Idea was brought up a few times long ago and was something I had a guy (danieleeeee) doing but I felt bad for him having to rewatch the episodes and indexing everything. Maybe like 5-10 general talking points would work best and the best way to probably do that is to try to keep track during but that would take away from my focus so that might not be the best idea. Maybe writing down some notes right after I finish and then time stamping them in the description would work best. Or just paying someone to do it is probably the GTO way

I remember saying something similar to this to WCG before we did two podcasts together. I totally agree with you on Jungle as well.

I have a bit of love for LHE and now I want to play some on a livestream. After hearing Sklansky talk about Limit games and some of the mixed game discussion about limit games I want to try out a couple of them.

This and the jungle podcast were both awesome Joey. Nice work sir!
This is such a great way to describe him haha. Obviously you would love to have a legend like CTS on anytime but what you said about some of these guys being like mythical figures from poker folklore to people is something I think about when I am thinking of who I want to have on. There are so many names from online/live poker past who seemed bigger than life when we all first started playing poker but we never really knew much about them.

Ilari at some point in time, even though a certain friend of mine will be upset with that. For some of the guys who I really don't know in anyway, I would probably have to meet them in person and bring up the idea of coming on at some point. This would require me actually traveling more which I haven't been a big fan of this past year or so but have a bunch planned this year.

You sometimes have no idea if someone will share any of there interesting stories or if they do, will it come off interesting. I think a good number of people think they aren't the best at doing something like that and i've heard from a couple guests that so and so told this sick story and i really can't quite compete/deliver it like they did. I think its on me to try to get those stories out of the people I have on and make them feel good about sharing.

I agree with the idea of length. My idea is that you can watch for as little or as long as you enjoy it and have time to spare. I don't really think this is the most GTO way to bring in new viewers tho

Also, like others have mentioned, these podcasts are just second to none as far as motivation / inspiration for an online poker player.

Thanks a bunch Joey.
I'm really happy to hear you write it like this. You almost explain exactly what goes through my mind when I think about doing these. I'm glad it is actually perceived that way by some people. Unique conversation from people who are at the point in poker that many people dream of when they first begin. Try to provide some form of inspiration/motivation/entertainment to the people that listen.

Great job!

One guest you can try to have on that probably wasn't mentioned a lot is Alexandre Dreyfus - You talked about GPI in a previous podcast and he's the entrepreneur behind this. Before that he owned a poker-room and has a ton of experience in business in general. Could be very interesting and a bit different from regular interviews

I will be going out to LA tomorrow for the poker conference they are having with the american poker awards. I'm not sure many people actually care at all about either but I think they have potential if some of the nominees/panel weren't so ridiculous. I will be recording something (not sure if live) with Dreyfus tomorrow night in the ball room I believe. Very interested to discuss this and more with him.

I'm going to stay out there for LAPC and beyond probably so I will probably end up with some random podcasts. Me and Jason Koon will be doing one together sunday/mondayish and that will be live.

I'm pretty sure I am going to Malta for EPT/WPT (not sure what it is) and a ton of people will be out there as well so I'm not sure exactly what we have in store for March guests/content. I do have some more end bosses in mind and will try to keep up 2/week and sometimes more depending on availability. I might end up playing on stars 24/7 when I land there and then no podcasts lol

Joey, if you're heading to Malta next month, a catchup with yaaarny would be good.

Also, can you clear something up re: BGG. The maxim is 160 & above we show you love, 160 or below you gotta go. This means women who are 160lb specifically fall into both categories. Do we give them love or not, or are they just the perfect GTO weight do we are indifferent to what action we take?

Long may the podcast heater continue. Though the podcast run good seems to be escaping me at present.
