if everyone reading this post and watching the video called their reps/senators and told them they wanted to play poker, and told people they know to do the same thing, the game would get somewhere
I'm not saying this to be a contrarian, but I 100% disagree with this. It would do absolutely nothing.
Have a 6 to 8 week overseas PLO trip once per year. Vlog the whole trip, play the occasional big live event (e.g. a big PLO MTT or mid/high stakes PLO cash game), do some pods with local based players and play tons of online PLO cash on safe(r) sites.
I'm sure 888/Party/RIO/Unibet or a brand like WPT would fund the trip's travel and hotels + other production costs if you promote their brand during the 8 weeks, if you put together an attractive package and proposal to them.

Sounds like he would make a GTO guest.
I am struggling to figure out how to approach my podcast guests right now. I have about 75 people lined up that I want to have on but no real reasoning or idea for who/what/where/why I should have this or that person on. For the first couple years of the podcast, I had a pretty clear vision on who I wanted to have on and for what purpose a majority of the time (not always). In the past year or two, I've had some of that but I think I'm clicking random buttons often.
I guess that is to be expected when I start expanding my pre-flop range on potential guests. When I was focused on the PLO & online world, it was pretty easy to execute that vision.

First year Europe, then Brazil, then Canada etc.
That is actually a really amazing idea Sage. I have a trip planned this year that I should consider doing this for. Great idea.

No problem, happy to help.
The frustration of not being able to play untarnished, proper PLO comes through big time on your video.
You've got all the broadcasting and presentation skills, the great game of PLO skills and an existing great brand of you own that you would further harness with such a venture/adventure.
So a collaboration with another brand makes perfect sense.
There's also a gap in the market for some great PLO Vlog coverage. Some other Vloggers do little bits and pieces, but a 6 to 8 week series with you at the helm would be gripping viewing.
Was watching an old tonkaaaap podcast and he said he was gonna make a video about a sex bet for 6900 dollars but he never did. Does anyone know what that bet was?
GUKPT have an Omaha comp thurs nights of the event week, normally £165 at the bigger stops on the tour I think £85 the smaller ones, the mains are £500 or £1000 so not huge but worth a look maybe?, they have stops around the u.k. check the website for more specific dates

They don't have £500 BIs anymore. They range from £100 to £250, are PLO4/5/6, a level of each, and re-entries. All have good structures.
The biggest PLO comps tend to be in Finland. Party Poker/WPT appear to have given up on having any PLO comps apart from in Ireland. Basically an indicator that PLO is very popular in Finland and Ireland.
There are a few PLO tournaments in Belgium too.
EPTs have ~€1K to €5K BI PLO events but given Joey's openness about the direction Amaya have gone in, one would think it would be difficult to Vlog EPT events.
Sorry should have mentioned that there are a lot of PLO tournaments at Kings Casino, Rozvadov and obviously lots of big PLO cash games there too.
WSOPE PLO comps, WSOP circuit event PLO comps, and their own PLO comps.
So Kings Casino is the main place of live PLO in Europe right now.
As far as London goes, The Grosvenor Victoria Casino has fairly big PLO cash games £5/£10 and £5/£10/£25 and is where Luke Schwarz plays his live PLO cash.
I meant the 2 card PLO main events btw, maybe I could've added it in there, sorry !
No worries, I thought you might have meant NLHE.
The £5/£10 PLO games there can be juicy because the casino is in Edgware Road https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edgware_Road which has the nicknames Little Beirut and Little Cairo. It has a large Lebanese and Egyptian community, so you often get one or maybe two, rich, loose (and then tilty) middle aged gentleman from that background in the game.
The £5/£10/(£25) PLO game is quite soft IMO but you need a big roll because in some line ups it's often £75 to £125 to see a flop.
Probably the most annoying, unlikeable, self absorbed, judgemental & patronising guests you've had on the pod & wtf with the accent..? Isn't he supposed to be English

He doesn't come across that way to me. He prefaces most of his strong statements or opinions by saying that others may disagree with him or his outlook, and that he's totally cool with that and respects them.
The main thing that I observed is that he is exceptionally intelligent, interesting and complex. There is nothing to dislike about any of those attributes.
The accent is either a quasi Transatlantic one that he's acquired by spending time in the USA, or might be his long time accent because quite a number of well educated English men do speak this way.
