Here's what I told Joey a few months ago about this bet:

1. Getting a poker music video to 100k is really, really hard.

2. Getting any other kind of music video to 100k is not easy, but fairly doable.

3. If you're not limited to just one video, go HAM and see what sticks.

The Gus Hansen idea is a fun one, and I'd love to see that video, but it's unlikely to reach 100k. The idea of a Fortnite song is more on the right track. Joey needs to churn out music videos about topics that are very popular on YouTube, and maybe mix in some advertising or try to get noticed on Reddit.

And it needs to start now, because you're losing out on long-tail views the longer you wait.

I'm down to ghostwrite lyrics for any of these projects.

That's indistinguishable from the intro to your previous Gus video to me. Joey, from one lazy with everything that isnt poker guy to another, stop with these non poker props, you're a huge mark.

I did spend about 40-50 hours on this lol I like the video a lot but not a good song creator. I tried a few different things out and didn't really like any of them. I have one of me rapping but I am awful at rapping and no idea how to make it sound better.

The lazy part was waiting for so long but that is more being a ****ing idiot than lazy. I def need to stop with the non-poker prop bets though. I've lost my desire.

My honest and constructive feedback:

It's a decent first go but it needs a lot of tidying up and tightening up for it to become stimulating and memorable.

I think the general story line and inclusion of lots of iconic little clips and sound bites works well and would be even better with some refinement.

The "great summer" tag line is really what needs developing into a more catchy recurring phrase that underpins the whole piece and needs a more complex sound dynamic to it.

The overall 2:40 piece is lacking a recognisable melody or beat and lacking cohesion.

it's not a great video, but it's going to hit 100K fairly easily I would say.

do like a slo mo andrew neme style video , pay someone to do the music. flash some money but no over the top. let people see what " they think" a poker pro lives like in said video. then give it a click bait title. i think that would be your best shot. i wouldnt even focus on writing music if you dont have years of experience.

I wanna hear from Jungleman when he stops needing to play in these nosebleed games, and hear all the bull**** it takes and all the frustration you know that guy faces just to schmooze enough to get into and stay in those lineups. That would be a great talk, Jungle not pulling any punches.
