second post I assume what happened was the player was perma banned from the network and funds were refunded, then attempted to open an account under the same name under a different skin which caused confiscating of funds. I think this is more than reasonable if the network bans you in the first place and asks you not to return to the network (i think that they even say they will confiscate funds if you try to return), and you attempt to return to the network under another skin.
the 3rd post, the poster seems to have gotten his funds back and just banned from the network for preditory behavior.
for what its worth I think its completely reasonable for any site to deny any player from playing on their network if they determine their presence detrimental,
as long as they return player funds. In the example I gave, if the costs to handle payment processing for an individual player exceeds the value of the player of the network, its just a good business decision to remove that player from the network. If sites didn't do this and too much of the player pool cost the site money to maintain, it could quickly cause a the company to start losing money and go under. However, the funds should be returned in full to the player. I am also not in the postion to determine what the network deems to be detrimental behavior or not and it does seem like there is some ambiguity but that is a network wide issue and I have very little if any input in this process.
All I can really guarentee at highstakes.com is that player funds won't be stolen for frivilous reasons. I have no control of past actions of the network/skins on the network and whatever sub affilate scheme that was put in place for these players. If you have an issue with anything on highstakes.com itself you can contact me and I can guarentee that I will personally refund your balance if the network decides to steal your money for a bull**** reason and will likely pull my involvement with the site/network if that happens. I am fairly easy to reach as well and have responded to every email that was sent to me about highstakes.com. I don't have the time or the resources to deal with claims that happen on other skins that is the responsiblity of that skin or your agent/affilate that reaps the benefits of your rake generated on the site. So far for highstakes.com, even though its still in beta, I have had no such complaints and no issues I haven't delt with fairly easily.
