What was your diet like as a vegan? Mostly fruit and starchy vegetables? Or something else? Because I don't think that kind of diet would give you digestive problems.

And the angel of the lord came unto me, snatching me up from my place of slumber.
And took me on high, and higher still until we moved to the spaces betwixt the air itself.
And he brought me into a vast farmlands of our own Midwest.
And as we descended, cries of impending doom rose from the soil.
One thousand, nay a million voices full of fear. And terror possessed me then

And I begged, "Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?"

And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots!
You see, Reverend Maynard, tomorrow is harvest day and to them it is the holocaust."

And I sprang from my slumber drenched in sweat like the tears of one million terrified brothers and roared,
"Hear me now, I have seen the light! They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Damn you!
Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers!"

Can I get an amen? Can I get a hallelujah? Thank you Jesus

I think the vegan needs to stop having opinions and study more science. Everything I hear from educated people and science is the complete opposite of what he's saying on a lot of points.

According to a strict John Stuart Mill utilitarian calculus, the animals I eat probably suffer more than my suffering was alleviated by the change in my diet. But it is the natural order of things, and selfish behavior is inherent in the evolution of all species. I hope we can someday reach the point where we no longer need to include sentient creatures in our diets, but that is millenia away if humanity does not destroy itself (or AI takes us out) in the meantime.

Also, Daniel Negreanu is an insufferable sanctimonious douche. The sound of his voice and the sight of his hair plugs make my skin crawl.
Well said.

Please ask Cumicon for 6max PLO power rankings

How did he do against Ben86 in their HU match (in terms of buy-ins) ? On Poker After Dark Jungleman mentioned that he was either betting on Cumicon or had a piece and that Ben86 ran way above EV. I also heard it was xbooked huge.

It'd be interesting to hear Cumicon weigh in on the HUPLO match between BERRI SWEET and Dani Stern that sent Dani to the retirement home. Does Cumicon think Dani got outclassed? BERRI ran like god? Both? etc.

Does Cumicon plan on playing online/live PLO occasionally as a hobby? Or straight up quitting?

Watching that pod was eye opening in the sense that one person could get the kind of results that someone like me can only dream of but still be unsatisfied in many ways. I've been playing as a pro/semi-pro for the last ten years and still love grinding it out. I've done the office 9-5 and there is no comparison.

Gotta pay the bills + I think JNandez is doing great things for PLO.

Most of my desires & motivation for the podcast come during times I'm playing the most poker and/or caring about what is currently happening in the poker world. I haven't really done much of either since the summertime on a regular basis which has been evident. I've been playing & working on my PLO game a lot more recently & with that comes more content + podcasts. I really ****ing hate tournaments right now & don't have much interest in talking with any tournament players so that doesn't always leave many people who are on the top of my mind to get on the podcast. I've talked about this for years but I'm not the type to really reach out to guys I've never met before about coming on the podcast specifically & I don't envision this changing soon for better or worse.

My recent podcast guests

Cumicon- I've known from the PLO world & talked to before on Skype a couple times about possible doing a pod.

Doug I enjoy talking to more than anyone else in poker.

Vivian - We hung out all summer.

Berkey I really enjoy talking to & we spent the previous week doing commentary together.

Jnandez is my PLO brother in arms.

OhHeyCindy- We communicated through Twitter posts a bunch and would randomly talk about the joys that are getting OOL

Svzff - I've known him for yearssss now and the guy has always been such a hardcore ****ing grinder that I was incredibly happy for.

Steffen - I've known about him for awhile now and saw him at the Aria during Poker Master.

Schulman - I was up at the Poker After Dark set one week & he mentioned how much he enjoyed the podcast when we met. I told him we had to do one together & boom.

John Beauprez is one of my guys and fellow PLO brother in arms.

Phil G is obv Phil G.

Excuse my random usage of - and/&

I've done a few with random people I haven't known and I dislike those the most and I don't have any plan to go back to that. Probably to the negative of the viewer but the positive for my own personal motivation to keep doing more.

Come on lad, you didn't have to post all that.

Love the show for a long time, just want more TOP guys!!!

Watched the cumicon ep. and got a few ideas from.

I always ask for (and never get) old podcast friends: Sean L, dankness, Ansky etc etc.

EDIT: I've been hearing a lot of Nick Howard lately. He would be a good polarizing guest as some love, some hate him!
