Is joe out the podcast game? I miss the joe of old who had on great guests and interesting convos for the hardcore listeners. Now he tries to appeal to mass audience and have clickbaity content. Please be less like Doug Polk and do what you do best. My 2 cents

A man gotta eat don't he. And his presenting skills on Major Wager are top notch IMO.

Pretty sure he's announced plenty of upcoming podcasts too, which remember are completely free to watch, so his podcast fans should cut him some slack IMO because progressing and diversifying his career is a totally normal and natural thing to do.

First off Congrats Joey on working with PokerGo, I have found the product to be well well worth the almost nothing cost,(is $10 really that much to poker players these days sigh)

Funny show GL, a idea for a episode came to mind after hearing the pod with Jason Koon, have a last longer bet with any of the cast on staying in a bath of Ice . . .

Just a friendly tip for anyone wanting any pod in mp3 format to hear on the go you could always just download it from Youtube and then upload it to whatever device you have link below, Much Love Joey hope all is well Peace . . .

i feel like live at the bike is where content creators go to die, every show has died , Limon isn't even around anymore , feldman got like 20 viewers on his live at the bike talk stream. Hopefully it doesn't r.i.p Joe too

The OOL at The Bike with Joe Ingram is watchable but doesn't appear to be catching on. Possibly because Joey is at his best when he has total editorial freedom to be natural and use his instincts on a second by second basis. Sometimes brand collaborations work and sometimes they don't.

Joe(y) Ingram (Papi) etc, is a brand of its own, so maybe this is the key...... to promote himself and his own brand, because that is where the real value is.

As far as I'm concerned, his podcasts will always be the go to podcasts in the poker industry. They are the ones people want to view above all others, and the ones that guests want to be on above all others.

The same applies with his impromptu or loosely planned streamed commentaries of games. These are him being natural and unscripted, which is his strength.

It appears that podcasts are difficult to monetize, but with every podcast made his own brand value is re-enforced.

Also side note but I think it's kind of an odd partnership when I feel Joey is the same size if not bigger as liveatthebike? I believe Joey said he is happy to be part of something bigger but doesn't seem like that is true. Look at the views on his big guest podcasts compared to liveatthebike replays / 300-500 viewers on most nights.

Either way i'm happy if he's happy , doesn't affect me I just personally don't watch it

There's really nothing else to cover though. Isn't online HS dead? And the few that still play would rather not discuss the games? And probably the guys who play in live big games don't want to talk about their games either?

Where else could he possibly have taken his channel? Talking about the big girl grind and the good ol online days isn't going to get him anywhere. I'm glad he's moved on to bigger and better things.

I think LiveAtTheBike is doing something great for the poker community with live streaming cash games 5/days a week and actively trying to make their product better and better. I've been friends with Ryan Feldman prior to him getting involved with LATB and I think he has done an amazing job so far at growing the product. He asked me if I would be interested in doing some type of show for LATB and I thought it would be a good opportunity to help out a friend and support a company in poker that is trying to do positive things for the community instead of ****ing them over.

It's the first type of partnership I've done like this in poker and I'm still figuring out exactly what the format for the show will be but I have good ideas on a few different fronts on how to make it something that LATB regulars enjoy and new people to LATB will enjoy.

My main objective is to create something that helps to improve LATB awareness in the poker community and turn more poker fans into regular watchers of the live shows and on-demand content

I've found that I actually enjoy working with other creative people after being solo with poker and on my own content for so long. I kind of enjoy the idea of being apart of some type of team who also want to do cool things.

I don't think it is DEAD but it certainly isn't what it was. High stakes play is much more spread out now and the regulars at the stakes now are the same regulars that were there a couple years ago. My relationships were much stronger within the PLO community when I started the podcast and now they are spread out all over the poker world and outside the poker world.

I am def not out of the podcast game, I think my ability to conversate with other people is what I am best at and it is what I enjoy doing the most BY FAR. I wanted to test out a couple different ideas with other video content and now we will see how those efforts will pay off. I think I executed some of the ideas really well, some of them very bad and others meh. I think my biggest problem is that I get too many different ideas for video types and it all scrambles up inside my brain before I lose track of the main focus. My idea with some of the mass audience content was to get new viewers to the channel that would never check out a 1-2 hour podcast and turn them into regular watchers.
