Kalas switched his tax base to Puerto Rico so I guess he does have quite a few investments. Didn't think he was super-wealthy even after reading this article but he did look comfortable at the tables.
THIS PLUS PARTY POKERS BIG AZZZZZZ PLO GAME HAVE WRECKKED MAH SHORTS.
Seriously though, the Triton streams are a blast. Really like the atmosphere, the plaques, the table talk, and of course the MacAllen.
Dwans commentary was great to hear, good insight into plays.
Thought it was cool as hell for Koon to lose that big pot, immediately rebuy, and then recoup it all back super fast and just be like "hey, took sooner than I thought."
Pretty cool baller moment.
Think it's cool too to see Kalas playing that high and do well. I guess like with others, it was a shock to go from $25/50 as a Poker Night In America reg to DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNN a milly Euro buy in.
Also really liked the graphic displays, they seemed more "lively" and less damn clinical than some others.
Funny when it seems like a small game when it's 'only' a 300k euro cash game, I'm interested to see how short deck cash plays after all the mtt play we've seen
I think Koon is quite good for tv poker. Although not a personality as such - but he has heart, is a good player and doesn't take all day to make his decisions
Also you can see why these Chinese businessmen get ****ed off playif with these other players. Did you see Jungleman, the east Europe player with the scarf on, or Antonios say a single word at the table? They just sit there like robots.
Even when they're not in a hand they just don't say anything!
Durrr just sat in the short-deck game now. First hand was AA vs Ivey's AK suited all in pre-flop. 600k pot. Easy win. Must be nice to live as Tom Dwan for the most part, it seems.
it's interesting to see a game where Ivey seems like one of the least comfortable with the amount of money being played even compared to the almost all the other pros
maybe it's just that he has the least experience with short deck, but it comes across that way

maybe you have a different opinion than the chinese businessmen since for sure 2 of those 3 get invites to some of the private games and probably all 3
