I was at Il Tomatina, the tomato throwing festival, in Valencia Spain w/ some Americans and Aussies and we just randomly bumped into Mark Vos & his gf in the street right before things kicked off... wtf how random

I remember railing a game with Mark and Matusow in it pretty sure it was PLO and they got into a big pot, Mark potted it and Mike called but it only left mark with about 2k behind and the pot was probably 30k, on the river Matusow moved in and Mark started tanking then his auto timebank kicked in, then extra time, then even more time and eventually his hand folded I was gobsmacked! A 15k disconnect.

Don't know if you remember that hand Mark? I remember you coming back online and saying that there had been a massive power cut in OZ, Matusow was unsympathetic said something along the lines of "the same think happened to me when i was playing Ram Vaswani". That is a default Mike Matusow response if you tell him something he comes back and says the same thing happened but worse to him.

Sure do remember, it was gross. Numbers sound about right but I was in south east Asia, also he moved in on the flop and I needed to call 2k more, but was unable to do so. I had 2 pair, kings up and flush draw. Mike said he had top set of kings. Either way a stomach churner.

Smart dude. Remember Mark asking on Pokernetwork about "frame of reference" when he just started to bet on racing and sports. Frame of reference is always percentages and always will be. Smart.
So what happened to your old best mate Jonny the mouth Vincent.?
Mark was one of the first top name players to work out that poker was mathematically flawed. Most good investments get better as your turnover increases. Not poker where the edge gets smaller.

So Mark if you want a really good game you can slip down to the Gold Coast and play 2-3 10% rake with a $20 cap. Aren't you lucky.
