Now THAT was a good idea! Assuming it works well and is accurate, of course.

Is it too soon for me to start whining about how PokerGo starts their coverage at like 9 and 10PM CST making it essentially useless for the 80% of Americans who live in the CST and EST zones to watch if they have jobs to go to in the morning?!?!?!

I was floored at how awful they were at just about everything last year.
Their main coverage was pretty good in terms of volume and starting times

And yes, I have no choice but to sign up again, but I will whine like a little B everytime I see that coverage is supposed to start at like 7PM CST and they delay it over and over until like 9:30

Yes but it’s never a good time to whine

WSOP is an event on West Coast, just like any event of this ilk, comes on later on East Coast

You don’t have to watch it live btw. And no one will spoil the result of a 10K stud or whatever

Coverage was A+ outstanding last year, essentially the 50K PPC and Main Event. Off the hook good

Agree on little B lol

lol I know it's kind of rough on them but if he's getting paid something near that for 6-7 weeks worth of work that's good money for him, plus I'm hoping it'll lead to him dealing full time long term at a casino and getting health insurance and benefits instead of dealing occasionally at home games and working odd jobs otherwise. Anyone have any idea what they make for the series on average?

This was posted at the end of 2023 WSOP by a local that dealt the entire series, it goes into a lot of detail, but here is the short summary.

There’s no set starting time for the final table of most events. They just have to wait until the right number of people are eliminated. This isn’t a PokerGo issue.

If it’s on too late, can’t you just watch it the next day? It’s not that hard to avoid spoilers about a typical WSOP side event.

What is an issue with PokerGo is that most of the time they wait until it's 5 or 6 handed before they air it, instead of the full final table airing.

And that seems fine to me, while they have a few different commenting teams can’t really expect them to work super long hours all the time over a month and a half
