Actually, the same reaction with yet another river 10 in that last hand

Are they accidentally streaming the seniors event at the feature table? Oldest main event table I’ve seen in a while

That 888 vs. 222 hand. Yikes. How to get minimum value from a cooler.

People would kill for that spot.

My observation from playing some events this week is that the WSOP player pool is mainly middle-aged men. Who could've guessed that banning online poker would eventually reduce the flow of new players into the game? That and the lack of disposable income from young people have made it an old man's game once again.

What a crazy huge bet with a set, could have got paid big. These people are actually folding, Steve Z got off that Top Top quickly and JJ Liu folding a set on a clean board, wow.

He had a language barrier and really didn't understand. Then he got max flustered. The feature table, the lights, not understanding, etc. He was a beaten man happy to go home.

They say check their twitter [pokergo] but there's not even a mention of the stream being down or being 'repaired' on their twitter

WSOP Main Event 1a live coverage is experiencing technical difficulties. We hope to put the stream back up shortly. The forthcoming video on demand of this event will function properly.

Right now I'm thinking about the people who argue that its okay that PokerGo shows far fewer events now than in the past, and only 5 people at the final table because of their increased production quality and technical acumen.

Idk he seemed reluctant to leave at the end. The language barrier was definitely a problem initially but he was pretty adamant in wanting to call turn and was confident on the river. It would be interesting to know the story of how he heard of the ME and what prompted him to register as he doesn't have any hendon results.

Impressive how well Doyle can still play at 88 years old.

Yes. Language barrier aside, he obviously had only rudimentary knowledge of the game. What was he doing in a 10K buyin. With 6000+ entrants I'm sure there are scores of people who enter that aren't just bad but barely understand even the basics. But wow, to see one of those play out on the stream was weird. I felt bad for the guy and was actually sort of cringy to watch. Hopefully he didn't care and meant little to him.
