It wasn’t that bad. There’s been way worse in previous years. Way too much focus on tanking. Wasn’t even much of an issue

Must be some strange ass table interactions. Bleznick-Bujtas-Hellmuth must be the oddest social combo ever

Event #84: $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller.

This event would have made a great broadcast.

Arieh Deeb Hellmuth Negreanu

"The remaining 11 players are now on a 15-minute break.
They will relocate to the feature tables in the Mothership when they return."

The $50ks seem like a more interesting sweat than the $250k since the lower price point attracts a more eclectic bunch of players. 85 entries in the PLO. 59 in the NLHE with more certain to follow. The $250k was mostly just the same 15 dudes you see in every super high roller.

If I'm not mistaken, $50k adjusted for inflation is close to the equivalent of what $10k represented in the early 70s when the WSOP was in its infancy, so it's roughly the price of what the main event should be if they kept up with the times. Makes for an interesting field heavy on pros, with a healthy mixture of top tier pros and lower tier pros who are probably shot taking and/or staked.

Haralabob was on the fence (on twitter) about degening the 250k (when btc was at 65k+ he was, at least. heh.) and Dan Smith pointed out that the field in the 50k or 100k probably makes for a much more enjoyable experience

Apparently it is going to be broadcast, I think?

> The remaining six players are on a 60-minute dinner break. The action will pick up again at approximately 9:55 p.m. and will be televised.

Has there ever been a stream of Laszlo Bujtas playing live PLO before? I can't recall it having happened in the past. He's quite the online legend
