There might be something to this:

WSOP event 68 results show Daniel finishing in 36th place worth 213.1 points https://www.wsop.com/tournaments/res...7537&grid=1622
However, the live updates show the 36th finisher as SnapShove with an Irish flag https://www.wsop.com/tournaments/upd...rr=5&curpage=2 (Eliminations 28-36 ($7,315))

Hendon Mob lists the 36th place as going to Max Silver while Poker News lists SnapShove (is that Max Silver's WSOP.com username?) as finishing in place 36.

Event 68 started on June 30 and finished in the early hours of July 1. Daniel talks about just busting from this event on his July 1 video blog starting at the 11:39 mark. He makes no mention of cashing and in the next scene proceeds to the dinner break in the live event he's playing. The clip from Amanda says there are 322 people remaining in the tournament. Those timings don't necessarily line up, but it sure doesn't sound like he finished in 36th place.

Not saying that he didn't get the POY points somewhere else, but the reporting of the event definitely appears to be messed up.

Looks like we need a Postle type of investigation

DNegs is usually meticulous with this records. I would go with his records rather than a bunch of maybes on the web.

It's not a maybe... He didn't cash in the $1k... The results for event 68 on wsop.com are mixed up with event 87 . He placed 36th for $4700 in the 3k horse not the 1k online

Per wsop Daniel got 4075 points. To know for sure we need a breakdown of that amount. Because the list in the picture doesn't equal that. If someone can get a list of what makes up the 4075 we can determine if it includes the 1k cash, and if it does it's wrong.

Actually his list does equal 4075 a couple of results are just cut off in the pic.

Wsop is very lucky there were no prizes involved... Daniel and Shaun would both have very legitimate cases that they would have approached final events differently had points been accurate...

Right, if WSOP just decides to correct this now and award POY to Campbell, Deeb could very reasonably feel cheated. He probably would have used a different strategy on the final day of the Colossus if he only had to finish 8th rather than 5th, since he could have easily folded into 8th. All three players were using these point totals as their basis for their strategy throughout WSOP Europe. Maybe they need to award all three co-POY.

EDIT: unless the event didn't count towards points and just shows him as 36th as a bug on WSOP results page - some investigators need to check that, it's possible for sure when they can **** up like this.

Deeb could easily lost big money here on sidebets.

EDIT: This is a big deal...not just for potential sponsors and pride, money/EV lost chasing POY but you just know they had side bets on this
