The turn is the 7d and Eldridge checks. Michaelis bets 68,000 and Eldridge thinks for a bit before he calls. The river is the 8d and Eldridge checks. Michaelis bets 180,000 and Eldridge immediately calls.

Michaelis tables 9d6d for a straight flush while Eldridge was on the wrong end of a cooler as he had the Ad8s for the ace high flush.

To those watching the stream, what was Michaelis' reaction at showdown? For example, when he saw Eldridge's ace-high flush, did he think he had lost (only to realize what he had)? If so, it's quite possible he misread his hand as a mere middling flush, and thus made what he thought was a crying call.

The A high flush guy check called the straight flush guys bet on the river. There was nothing odd about the hand. The board was paired which is why he didn't check raise I assume.

Ah I got it wrong, Michaelis bet and Eldridge called on the river. He def reacted like he'd lost a huge amount of value though.
