Respect to Colman for standing for what he believes in.

Antonio played pretty horrible in those two hands, then tries to justify it as being bad luck.. 'So sick'.. Etc..

I've always like Antonio until I saw this episode.. He came off as if he was so good that the only way he could lose is if he gets 'unlucky'. Then his attitude was surprising too... He is usually a pretty good sport and seems genuinely happy. He was kind of acting like a spoiled little kid after those two hands.

I hope he sees how bad he looked on TV and is more humble in the future.. Especially in tournaments that are broadcasted on national TV.

Oh... And Rick Solomon is a boss.

By playing the tournament, he didn't stick to what he believes in.

The title of the video is:

Poker Player Loses $1 Million After Incredible Bad Beat

The bad beat did not cause the $1 Million loss. The 42 people who played the event each lost $1 Million when they entered the tournament.

Then whoever cashed won it back plus more.

The A9 seemed pretty bad but the A5 with 12.5bbs in BB vs SB open is a totally standard ship and running into AJ there is pretty unlucky.

Really? He shook everyone's hands and didn't act anything crazy. Of course no his usual "nice hand sir" but he handled it pretty well. But if you say Brandon Steven, now we're talking..

That AA vs KT hand between Tobias and Seiver has to be one of the best televised hands I have seen in a long time.

In most of those captions, it's Olivier Busquet, not Harolobolis.

Also, Olivier confirmed on 2p2 radio I believe, that Colman had 20% of himself (not the 15% mentioned in your article).

The attacking interviews with Hellmuth, Jay Farber, Antonio and Mario Ho that just aired was really hard to watch.

Given the number of high stakes players that said they agree with him, they could have offered a differing opinion.

Agreed. ESPN just comes off as spiteful

I'd like to see an interview with Sheldon Adelson responding to Coleman. I'd be curious what he would have to say. I'd expect his views to be very similar.

Anyone know the name of the hot chick (Negreanu's girlfriend?) ESPN kept showing when they got to heads up?

Also, after watching today's broadcasts, I have to say Colman conducted himself better than every player who is chirping that he's being a bad ambassador of the game by not giving an interview.

He seems very interactive, respectful and when he told the other player 'Good fold, I had trips', that's going to encourage recreational players to play the game rather than an "I'd like to thank God" speech.

Big fan after these episodes.

The part about not giving an interview was not that big of a deal. Coleman didn't do anything that unusual in the episode which was about what I expected from him. I didn't think he was going to talk trash the whole time.

For a guy that won so much money he barely showed any emotion and he looked almost unhappy as a winner but whatever.

For you guys that support him, I'm curious what you think of Sheldon Adelson and his fight against online poker. If Coleman is right about poker being such a dark game, then wouldn't it be a good thing if fewer people are playing online poker? I'm so used to seeing people angry with Adelson on this site every time he says anything negative about poker so I'm a bit surprised at the "Coleman is a hero" comments. Imagine the reaction to Adelson if he called poker a very dark game and made some of the same comments that Coleman made.

Should I hate Col-man? If I like Colman, I also like Adelsons views?

Colman conducted himself very well and I really don't understand where all the hate was coming from. He seemed to do everything right.

He also just went on a bit of a Twitter rant that was quite insightful.

I don't think ppl are saying Colman is a hero but I think the backlash and attacks on him weren't warranted. He played in a tournament and didn't want to do interviews after, that really should be the end of the story but people like controversy.
