Any chance that they have met up and made a deal already but keeping it quiet for TV?

not free, but cheap & you can catch up the next day if you don't make it through the whole night
Whats the benefit of paying to watch on ESPN over the WSOP site?

paid that too. i hope the stream won't lag and be in a very good quality.

i remember the wsop.com-website to be lagging for me in one of the last years so im willing to invest 3€ into a quality broadcast (which i hope i'll get).

With the €3 package you get to watch it all week long .. so you can actually go to sleep and continue watching where you left off the next day. I'm also assuming that it's less likely that the stream will crash/lag or something like that. In July, the wsop.com stream was very unreliable for me .. I doubt that it will get better during the FT when a lot more users hit the servers.

I don't know if espn will offer a better quality but I wouldn't be surprised if they actually do. With less users hammering the servers you can offer a better quality...

The biggest reason though why I'm paying €3 is to show espn that they can actually make money doing this and that there are people out there willing to pay for good poker coverage = increasing the chances of getting live streaming again in the future

Plus, €3 is not really the world

^^ have been searching all week, but I can't figure out what's wrong with the ESPN3 plug-in. Apparently it stills work, but not for me and others

I'll probably just pay the three quid if the WSOP.com stream has different commentators. I'm only watching to laugh at Hellmuth.

so they aren't starting the broadcast when the table actually starts? wsop.com says the play resumes at 2:30.

Ha I love it when poker players are frugal in other aspects of life. People will fortfeit hundreds on sketchy semi-bluffs and then refuse to pay £2 for a sandwich.

Splurged the massive amount of 3€ on the espn on demand for the week, gonna have it hooked up to my 42" LCD and have a few beers watching O'Dea Ship the loot
11-06-2011 , 02:41 PM
