The Nuts would be VIP points accumulated as one by playing on either Poker Stars or Full Tilt, that way players would not have to stick to one site to get best VIP deal target for months year etc.

Thoughts?

My main thought is that this thread and its 834781 variants are proof the FTP containment thread got shut down too early.

I just thought it might be a good idea since poker stars themselves will be now working out what method suits best.

Many players will stick to site offering best VIP or Rakeback deals especially small stakes grinders, so having both sites work together would be ideal imo players would just play best games and VIP would be added together as one no matter what site they play on.

FTP and PokerStars should have 2 separate VIP programs not all wrapped in one

How is this a good idea playing on one site due to VIP points bonus supernova elite etc when you would rather be playing on site with best action games at the time day/night, and could switch and play on other site same day and still run up VIP points.

I know many players trying to achieve supernova elite and due to this would not play on Full Tilt all year surely there is a better method now that both are owned by poker stars.

Rakeback site owners like myself that centered their business around FTP players are holding their breath (or perhaps have more information than I do about the situaiton) that we'll continue to be compensated for whatever percentage of FTP players decide to keep playing when the site goes live again.

I hope they keep RB on FTP. Heck, bump it up a little to be comparable to Merge, Revolution, etc. 35% rb ftw!

I ORDERED A T-SHIRT AND THE POINTS WERE DEDUCTED FROM MY FTP BALANCE BUT THEY SHUT THE SITE DOWN AND NEVER SENT MY T-SHIRT STARS BETTER GIVE ME THAT T-SHIRT. Wouldn't surprise me to see Stars cancel rakeback and move it to an in-house VIP program but the affiliates who referred players will surely continue to be compensated for them - along with the new players that they refer.

I had just finally got rakeback through Rakeback pros when black friday hit!

This combined with iron man made me give most of my action to Full Tilt near the end

I hope they keep the Full Tilt reward system the same!

Best thing for the games is to keep the FTP RB system + Iron Man etc.

All that the PS VIP system does is encourage 24 tabling nits.

im pretty sure we won't see a merging of the vip points..
just makes no sense at all, because they gonna promote two completly seperate sites.
i am also pretty sure that in 1-2 years new players won't even know that full tilt is run by pokerstars
