For what it's worth, the ruse appears to be harmless. I think it's meant to be a character who went into a coma on April 14, 2011, just came out 10 years later, and is reacting to the world as if no time had passed.

I recall a character called A Noble Gent on here, and another guy who chose to write every post in a weird meter, like

Listening to these old podcasts...
Reminds me of a time...
When High Stakes Poker ruled the airwaves...
And Hellmuth bluffed Matusow off kings...
I miss AJ and Gabe.

'Twould be pretty funny if it turns out they're all the same person.
