Steve Ware Update:
No news, and there probably won't be for a while. Steve has broken communication. In case he is truly in a dangerous mental state I'm still going to give him a few more days to get himself together before I begin the collection process.

What happens next? Will StevenWareIsaThief.com launch?
This is entirely up to Steve. In the first week after he stole from me I laid out a road map telling him exactly what's going to happen. He knows what's coming if he doesn't attempt to work out repayment. I have promised him that I will eventually do
everything that I said.

I want to send Steven a stake to help pay you back. Is that OK?
Somebody not named Steve Ware sent me this question in a PM. I think it's a fantastically bad idea. The odds of Steve running your stake (any stake) into the ground are almost 100%. Everything that people have PM'd me about Steve's play over the summer indicate that he has a 'big score' mentality and zero bankroll management. Not to pile on Steve's poker ability because I've never played a hand with him, but a previous screenshot shows his online ROI at -39%. Someone familiar with him told me that found a way to blow $7K in an uncapped 1-2 game at Cornell. And he clearly lied to his backers about his overall poker numbers, omitting losses others witnessed firsthand. So-- while I appreciate the sentiment of wanting to help out, you should probably not stake Steve. It's my mistake and I should deal with the consequences of my actions.
With that said, if anyone wants to buy any portion of his debt at 1:1, I'm obviously selling, providing you won't go kneecapping to collect.

Why did you send first to Steve Ware?
Monumental lapse in judgement? I've sent first exactly twice, the only other time being with Jman (live) who I liked and trusted within hours of meeting him. Steve and I had worked together on 2+2 before in a sting operation involving a serial scammer. People try to scam me in the p2p threads often and I usually will string them along for their info before handing everything off to Mike Haven and Stars/FTP security departments. After he became mod, Steve was especially vigilant in following up re: one scammer I was stringing along, and he would PM me every day with offers of help or to ask if I wanted the guy banned yet. He seemed at the time to spend a lot of time fighting against scammers in the HSNL transfer thread.

Are you afraid of Steve having your account number?
No. Steve is well-versed in ACH fraud and would have ripped me by now if he intended to.
Note: In post 380 of this thread, Steven says that Admo was paid $30k in August. Also worth noting, is that Admo did not "start" this thread. It was separated from a previous thread that had been created regarding the situation.

Reason: added notes, stating that Admo was repaid $30k, plus that Admo did not start this particular thread.
