qft, is there any way a mod can put this in big bold letters at the start of the thread. i spent like an hour reading that last 1000 post thread, and there must have been 200 posts from people admonishing admo for loaning money when he did no such thing. people are dumb.

I think it's because we can get the discussion a bit more on track and organized.
We also wanted to start a new thread that wasn't cluttered with that hideous poll at the top (which I couldn't figure out how to delete).

Anyway, kevmath suggested to me that we could take your next post as a starting point for a new thread and just lock the other one and I agreed it was a good idea and probably time for that. Nothing to do with servers or ads. Just us silly mods thinking we can keep this chaos slightly better organized I guess.

Dunno why the mods made another thread, gonna be filled with the same posts as the last time. So to continue with the trend, I'll repeat myself once more and be done with this whole thing.

I wont say what I do but it isn't hard to guess, but I've been trusted with more than $30k fronted to me. If I didn't return the money in the time given to me (never happened) I would have to answer to someone. Hopefully he'd give me a chance to make right based on my rep but I know someone who was fresh with no rep and got scared ****less. I didn't ask what happened but he payed his debt (a few grand) within a week and I didn't see him around anymore.

My point is, you aren't going to get paid back unless you strike the fear of God in this kid. Stop worrying about if he kills himself, it would not be your fault. Steve got himself into this, not you. I hope you've called his parents by now as I feel like that is your best route. Let them know of the suicidal threats and the immature sociopath behavior Steve has shown. You are a good person and obviously have a sense of compassion, no offense to you but nice people generally don't get what they want, even more so when it involves collecting.

I may be a terrible person or w/e but I would have very little concern right now regarding Steve unless it had to do with my 30k. Unless it pertained to him giving me that money nothing he did would affect me or make me change my plan (website/parents/etc.). I highly doubt you ever see the money, you've already shown Steven he is in control and is apparent he understands that by him disappearing. It's his game and it'll end how he wants it to.

I really think you need to stop posting things like this. It undermines your credibility as it opens up the possibity that you and steve are in cahoots. The same goes with offering action on whether he pays or not.

I know you're just trying to be amusing...but fwiw we haven't spotted any gimmick accounts of Steve's since the Michael Vick incident.
Speculating isn't really necessary since we're kind of keeping an eye on that.
And the joke is getting pretty tired really fast so maybe we could turn the page on that one perhaps?

This is just outright silly. Admo hasn't forfeited anything at all. Anyone callous enough, and degen enough, and with enough of a thieving heart to steal $30k doesn't get the additional right not to be publicly humiliated. It's obvious Stephen has absolutely zero intent to repay the money he stole (not borrowed, but stole), and likely never had the intent in the first place. That lack of intent doesn't become so just because he gets publicly called out.

Your logic is false.

I suggest that Admo get a lien put on asap, so that if Cornell Fiji does off himself, maybe there will be a life insurance policy out there somewhere that the lien could be applied to. Given the complete lack of intent to actually pay in the meantime, that may be the only way Admo sees any of his funds returned.

whether it was intended as a loan. He sent someone money and got burnt. He trusted someone he barely knew but shouldn't have. The only difference is that Admo can probably file criminal charges of fraud. But then he might have to answer questions about the money he'd rather not.

I understand that. However, I also understand that stepping light on the carpet just to spare his feelings, guilt and public humiliation isn't the least bit +EV. There's a very good chance Admo never gets a penny of his money back, but if he does, it's much more likely to happen because of the public pressure than because of the lack thereof.

I'm certain there's probably nothing Cornell Fiji would love more than for his actions to have never seen the light of day, in that it would be easier for him to string Admo along even further, and to even potentially pull the same stunt on someone else.
