$1m Spin N Go finally pops on Pokerstars X3 - Page 9 - Poker News

Hm, you seem to be pretty sure that all the players losing money in these games would definitely be losing money in other games if the 1m spin and go wasn't offered. You also seem to be positive that these games aren't actually bringing money to the economy by attracting lots of new players.

Why do you think these things?

how many players do you think will come because of this?
even if we say 50k and they all bring and lose $50 (not happening) we're still down a lot.

not to mention Spins will be a losing game for most players so they will likely quit after a few days losing.

and most people coming to stars because of the spins will play the spins

it's not like poker will die because of spins, but don't try to tell me they're a good thing because they obv aren't, only for people that hit huge multipliers

What is better:

Spin and goes where recs have fun and actually WANT to play, but some money is pulled out regs pockets (what you call 'the economy')

sng and cash where a rec has pretty much zero chance of having any fun and even smaller chance to win any money, but an optimal amount of fish money is going to regs

Honestly, which of these seems sustainable to you?

in my experience from recs spectating me play they get annoyed of seeing only 10z and 20z pretty fast in the $5's.

but this discussion is pointless guys, so I will just stop and you should do the same

One would think people would get annoyed of the lottery, they literally never win, at least not much. But there's always next day and the feeling that maybe this time I'll hit it!

PS has become very very odd of late...not a real conspiracy guy BUT the level of bizarre beats that I am witnessing and hearing about is really starting to make me wonder whats going on. I was with some very solid poker players that have all but given up playing online anymore and the common statement is NOBODY is ever really winning $$ online...obvious there are a handful that do but the negative numbers are staggering. These Spin n Gos's aren't helping and with more and more of these no talent shove fest games say gg to online play unless you love the lotto.

Gamblers don´t gamble and gamble and gamble just to quit when they hit a big score.

He obviously doesn´t qualify as a gambler, given that he may never have put a single dollar into his Pokerstars account, but it seems pretty odd even for a huge nit.
