You must truly hate lottery winners. These million dollar sit and gos for 5 bucks have pretty much zero to do with actual skill, and they are not marketed to people who have worked hard on their game.
The extra money comes back in others seeing the result and depositing and playing them and other games. Think of it as a variant of the Moneymaker effect (he certainly did not lose all of his WSOP winnings and Pokerstars team pro money back into the poker economy).
I liked earlier in the thread someone suggesting these million dollar ones should be regular speed to be a better test of skill, because gimmicky 5 buck sit and gos with a millsky first prize should always be about innate skill...
