That'd also be pretty sweet. Is Galfond not playing any of the WSOPE?

How often do you think he gets asked if he's Isildur1? It must be hard to keep up a lie (if it is one) if he has to deny it over and over to pretty much everyone in the poker world who he meets.

Blom Bludgeoning Makhija

Posted 15 minutes ago by LikeABoss

It's been a great start for Viktor Blom, the man that many believe to be the famed "Isildur1." He has whittled his opponent Amit Makhija down to about 8,000 or so. We'll be stalking the table for the death blow.

Amit Flips the Script on Blom

Posted 5 minutes ago by LikeABoss

After being down to a point where Amit Makhija was open-shoving any opportunity he had, he has now taken a large lead over Viktor "I just might be Isildur1" Blom. The final swing of the ax from Makhija came on a {3-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} board, after Blom check-raised the flop.

Blom bet enough on the turn to essentially put Makhija all in, and Makhija made the call showing down the {10-Spades}{7-Spades} which was slightly ahead of the {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} which was drawing very live with both flush and straight outs.

The {k-Hearts} on the river, however would be no help to Blom and Makhija was shipped the largest pot of the match. Makhija now has about 47,000, while Blom is left with about 13,000.
Confirmed isildur

Blom = Busto
Posted < 1 min. by LikeABoss

It was a quick end to things once Viktor Blom got short-stacked vs. Amit Makhija, and the two got the rest of the chips in with Makhija holding pocket jacks, and Blom K9o. The board was no help to Blom, and Makhija will move on to the round of 64,
