Meanwhile Scott Montgomery was taking the upper hand over Ilari Sahamies, but perhaps Montgomery's girlfriend Annette Obrestad at the rail is acting as a kind of cooler because just now Sahamies doubled up to put them back at even stacks.

Is this common knowledge??? What a disaster of a couple.

Luckyjimm, where art thou? He is from London and the biggest Blom journalist right?
Provide NVG with the latest Blom gossip, this is your ultimate chance!

Jesus, this is a nosebleed railbirder's wet dream of a field.

This has to be the first time that Durrrr, Isildur1, Jungleman, Ivey and Ziigmund have all been in the same building/event at once.

PA is all that's missing from complete sensory overload.

He is too busy trying to convince people Phil Laak is a man-killing druglord.

It took him a while but Team Full Tilt Member Tom Dwan is through after defeating Olli Piepponen. They saw a q 8 5 flop where Dwan check-called a 1,500 bet. The turn came 9 and this time Dwan check-raised his Piepponen's 3,200 bet all-in. Piepponen took a while but eventually called all-in with aq but was behind to Dwann's 9 10 . The river came 8 to confirm Dwann's win.

Yeah pokernews all over the place again:

Daniel won vs. Mortensen earlier and just wrote:

Daniel Negreanu
Ha kind of funny: Just checked PokerNews to see who advanced in rd 1 and see that Carlos actually beat me! I could of sworn I won :-)

Also, I like how the top ten chip counts are all 60,000 but Ivey is number 1. If you have 60000 chips and Phil Ivey has 60000 chips, Phil Ivey has more chips than you.

The reporting from PokerNews.com is pretty awful. How does this hand even make sense?

The hand was against Ilya Trincher, his actual opponent. Assume that the hands were reversed?

Board read Q-8-9-9 on the turn when durrr won. Fixed by Pokernews now.

For his own sake I really hope that luckyjimm is at that casino. He might even be able yell "VIKTOOOOR" and get a glance from him.

Would make an epic interview though.

So did Jungleman (Daniel Cates) win or not? Match is long over but I did not find anything in the live reporting and pokernews is too stupid to update the chipcounts!

edit: Seems like he did win. He is in the 2-round line up vs. Lederer now. Really painful to follow on pokernews!
