Except that picture is taken at Aria, before Bobby broke his hip, and with them having maybe 1/10 what they'd need to play 10-20k.

Hmm possibly, but lineup could be same. Also, it was posted by JRB two days ago inclining that he is still in Vegas playing.

Not this by any means as the picture is Aria plus there would be many more flags on the table

it's so cute how some people think that just because youre dealing a game where you're pushing pots worth 100k's or millions, that the dealer is entitled to tips on the same percentage basis as the couple/few bucks they would get tossed in a 2/5 game.

if people were tipping dealers $3k every time they won a $300k pot in a game like this, the dealers would have higher winrates than the players

I don't think anyone is under the impression that the players would tip or the dealers would receive the same percentage as a 2/5 game. However, I think most people without any experience are wondering how often does a high roller win a huge pot and throw a few hundred or even a few grand to the dealer.

You pompous ass

In 5/10+ games that don't have a procedure to tip the dealer upfront for the whole table, players have a stack of $1 chips that don't play in the game but are only used for tips for dealers and waitresses.

Well the dealers at lower stakes all have higher winrates then the players too, so if that is bad why are you separating the two stake levels.

I'm guessing there're agreements with the dealers in high stakes rooms that either limit their take or chop it up over a large number of employees.

i dont think theres a seperate dealer pool at bellagio, all dealers there seem competent enough to deal bobbys room

You pompous ass
instead of calling me names, how about using your brain?

why on earth would dealers be making hundreds or thousands of dollars per hour, and if that were possible, why would people play poker instead of deal in the first place?

like, if i'm a pompous ass then you're just stupid AF

Bill Klein mentioned that he tosses good dealers $1-2k at the end of a session.

It doesn't take everyone in the game to give a big tip for dealers to make a bundle. It only takes 1. And if there isn't a big spot in the game, then it probably isn't running anyways.

in live nosebleeds they used to have a stack of redbirds to tip five bucks a hand, but it seems customary now to pre tip for the half hour
