It was pretty funny seeing Tom Dwan shaking Guy's hand during the announcement and then realizing that a huge reason he can afford to play in Guy's tournament is because of the money he won off of Guy.

what, you thought the good money truck was going to sprinkle cash on ftp and make everything good? This is a good thing for a lot of people with no drinking water that have bigger problems than waiting a few months to see if someone pays. the world doesn't revolve around ftp not paying their bills.

grow up and learn to live though adversity, how you behave in difficult times is what makes an adult.

Couldn't have said it better. I can't wait till this is resolved so everybody with $50 stuck in FTP can stop their bitching. The world throws curveballs, get used to it kiddies.

All the losers crying about this in this thread need to stop. Seriously get a **** life. How does this have ANYTHING to do with online poker or black friday? What are you all even crying about?

Just read this whole thread and have concluded it perfectly epitomizes the stupidity that is NVG. Keep it up NVGtards.

So it looks like Africa is fixed no need to Ante up for that anymore thank goodness poker fixed that.

This is a stupid idea. Nobody cares about people gambling with money that isn't theirs (other than Beal, Guy, the guy from treasure Island and some random HK businessmen ).

Lol at 11% for charity, cheap bastards if it were 50% or more to charity and winner take all I'd respect it. If its about charity then give to charity.

11% of 1mil is 110k and not $111,111.

This sounds like an awesome tournament, sick stakes and the amount of money going to charity is awesome.

I hope it does deter would be stakees, then the game becomes even more of a sick gamble, with at least one man walking away with tons of cash.

I think the game dynamic will be interesting because the poker pros are going to be feeling much more pressure than the vastly wealthy amateurs. One million repents a significant portion of any pros bankroll, although depending on the number of amateurs in the field it may be possible for some to secure stakes.

why not 10 mil buy in

$1m tourneys are a bit old hat - $10m buy-in tourneys are where all the cool kids play.
